Jaklyn stood, just staring at the wall. "Uh.... heh, heh..." she said nervously. "Oh, well, here I come!" she yelled running at the wall. She dodged a little splash of lava and a few boulders. Before she knew it she was on top.

I stared ahead, then shouted, "Oh crap!" A dozen birds were flying at us with sharp beaks.

"Wha-STYX!" I-(I'm switching to 1st person pov now. It's easier.)-screamed and ducked one bird that gave on a burst of speed and narrowly missed my head.

I sprang up and stood on top of the wall, holding out my knife. I slashed through one of them, but another one tore a strip of my jeans. "Styx..." I muttered. I would've prefered that happening if I was wearing Aphrodite clothes, but sadly, I wasn't.

Crystal: I swiped blindly at one and just missed it, instead getting clawed by the thing's talons. Cursing, I swiped again and took out that bird-thingamajig.

"Oh, just great, because I have HUGE supply of useless cds with me!" I yelled back, taking out another few birds. "I have some some cds and a cd player in my cabin! Don't ask where I got it! Ya think you can stall the birds?" I started to climb down, swinging my sword, cursing, and slipping the whole way.
