I cautiously walked into the stables. A few pegasi backed away form me the moment I looked at them. I few others skittered around nervously, some looked like they didn't know what to make of me.
Only about three didn't move. I walked over to them. One was dark grey mare, like stormy ocean, had flecks of white, and emerald green eyes. Another was a pure white stallion, with a raven-black mane and ocean-blue eyes. The last stared me down. She was a jet-black mare, had a pure black and tail with seemingly even blacker eyes. We glared at each other, unblinking, until I snapped my fingers and the pegasus snorted and blinked.
"Who're you?" I asked softly, sizing up the black pegasus quickly. It snorted and I came a little closer. The other two pegasi backed up slightly, their ears flattening. The black mare didn't move. "You look fine." I continued slowly, waiting for a reaction. "I'll take you."
The pegasus whinnied again and stepped up to me. She nuzzled my arm and I snickered. "Knew I'd get you to like me." The pegasus seemed to snort indignantly. "I'll call you..." I thought for a moment. I already had a hellhound named Shadow, so..."Sundown. Like that?" She whinnied. "I'll take that as a yes." Sundown nickered softly.
