The night was quiet and peacefull before it was broke by a loud shriek, which was fallowed by many calls of, "SPIDER! SPIDER! OH MY GODS IT'S A SPIDER!!! EIK! RUN!!!"
You see two seconds ago Brook had woken up with a spider hanging just above her head, causing the shriek. Now every one in the Athena cabin was screaming and throwing books and blueprints in complete blind fright. Their cries could wake all of camp.... which they did.
The girls were huddled to a wall shaking and screaming while the boys (and Brook) tried throwing stuff at the little creature that sat on the bunk above Brook's.

Hannah woke up with a jolt then realized what was happing, "Gods..... agh, I'm just gonna leave it. So she and her messy wavey hair bounced back into bed. A sibling of hers shook her, "Go. Do. Something." the red-head named Sandy warned. "Oh fine." snapped Hannah getting up.
She began to walk but made purposely slow progress.

Joining Hannah in her slow progession she sighed, "Again?? Really??"
Oh yes, Jaklyn looked... great in her grey and black pajamas with messy feathery white hair, if what you call great is a huge disaster. Lucy would throw a fit if she saw how Jaklyn looked now.

I sat up in the Aphrodite Cabin, after being woken because of the whole of the Athena Cabin screaming 'SPIDER!'. Yeah, that can wake you up pretty quick.
I rolled over in bed, trying to ignore them. Long story short: It didn't work and I got out of bed and almost ran into Hannah and Jaklyn. My hair looked like a family of birds and made a nest out of brown strings of...something. Too sleepy to think correctly.

I kicked open the door. "FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!" I shouted, and thunder rumbled. "THE THIRD TIME THIS MONTH!" I stormed to the Athena Cabin, kicked open the door, and picked up the spider. I had half a mind to chuck it at the Athena campers.

Katie: I ran past Hannah and Jaklyn and into the Athena Cabin, exasperated. "ONE spider, are you guys SERIOUS?!" I demanded, trying to tug loose strands of muddy brown hair out of my face. I was still in my uh, pajamas, which was basically grey sweatpants and a pink spaghetti strap.

She pokes her head into the door, looking around with mild curiosity. Night had always been more of her time-- she likes the quiet. Her guitar hangs down by her black jeans, tucked into white boots. She brushes a speck of dust off of her long-sleeved white top and rolls her eyes. "Good lord, people. It's a freaking camp. Of course there'll be bugs."

Katie: "Every child of Athena has arachnophobia, (too lazy to check if I spelled that right) so they naturally are terrfied of spiders...but, seriously, it's getting downright annoying."

I nodded in agreement, then chucked the creature out the window.

Brook: She glered and crossed her arms as the campers yelled at her terrified half-siblings and her-self, who was also sort of frightened. "Well we have good reason! Go read some history! And if you don't mind SHUT UP!!!!" she snapped clenching her fists. Her grey eyes blazed with piercing hatred, nobody, not any body, was going to mess with her cabin. Even the peaceful Brook wouldn't allow it.
Hannah and Jaklyn: As they heard Brook scream, "SHUT UP!" at the top of her lungs they ran the rest of the way. Staring through the window they watched what would happen. there was no reasoning with Brook to be done when she got this way.

I wanted really bad to bang my head against something, but the only thing closest was an architecture book and I really hated architecture. No offense to the Athena kits.
"Woah," I said, "everyone calm down. The spider's gone. Now can we all get back to bed?" I tugged my fingers through my hair to get rid of some knots.

"You should be grateful that we got rid of it." I wanted to say that, but didn't say it out loud.
