Background: Dakota grew up in a small town in Florida. Her dad died when she was twelve, because of an overdose. Talking about her dad is a very touchy subject for her now and doesn't like to talk about it at all. She was left with her step-mom and her three year old half-sister, which wasn't that bad until her step-mom found out she was a half-blood. She wasn't accepted in the house anymore because she was a "freak" and "unnatural" that's when her friend Destiny (who was a satyr) took her to Camp Half-Blood.
