I didn't even remember when I turned vegetarion. Maybe last year when I went out into the mortal world for awhile, and saw some turkeys being slaughtered for Thanksgiving...
Well, I poked at something I think was eggplant with my fork and finally put it in my mouth, chewed, and swallowed. Katie was at the edge of the Aphrodite table while her sisters talked about trying to set up some demigods to date.
Poor kids.
Dionysus sat where he usually did, looking bored as ever but once I caught him glaring at me. I suppose it was about the latest prank on his cabin...anyway.

I went over and sat next to Crystal just to make Dionysus angry, then watch him yell at me and get into trouble by my dad. "Hey."

Dionysus scowled. "Excuse me, but I believe that you're not a child of Poseidon." He pointed a finger at me. I shrugged. "So?" Dionysus looked taken back, then glared at Crystal.

I resisted the urge to stick my tongue out, and instead flashed Dionysus a bright smile. "Why hello," I said in an unlike-me overly cheery tone.

I stopped the fake smile and nearly started cracking up. "He didn't make you move. I thought for a moment there he was going to summon grape vines or something to drag you to your table!"
