Dakota walked into the Poseidon cabin, she really wanted to go canoeing but didn't trust herself in a canoe. So she needed a daughter of Poseidon with her. She looked around for Dani and finally spotted her, "Come on! We're going canoeing," she said picking up a pillow and playfully throwing it at her.

Dani sat up and gasped as a pillow was thrown in her face. "Huh?" she said, rubbing her eyes.

"WE didn't decide on anything. I decided for us. Now get out of bed and let's go to the lake!" she said, walking over to Dani's bed and pulling all the covers off of her.

"Of course." I said, getting out of the bed and stretching. "Oh, well. I love the water anyway!" I said with a giggle, grabbing Dakota's hand. "Let's go." Dakota was lucky she had mentioned canoeing; I wasn't a morning person and would have probably bit her head off if it wasn't something involved with water.

Dakota laughed, still holding Dani's hand. "To the lake!" She started to run beside Dani, out the cabin and towards the direction of the lake.

Dani raised her eyebrows. "It's real easy. Maybe I can teach you one day. Come on, let's get a canoe."

(I didn't even notice until you pointed it out. LOL. Our names are just so similar.  ) Dakota laughed, "Good luck with that. I just sink to the bottom." she talked as she got a canoe and pushed it into the water and grabbed two paddles, and handed one to Dani. |

Dani crossed her arms. "Don't be so sure!" she said, sticking out her tongue and taking her paddle. "I love the water."

Dakota glared at the water, "I don't like water at all, but I've always wanted to go canoeing." She stepped inside the canoe and waited for Dani to come, looking cautiously at the water around her.

"Water is defiantly NOT great. And yeah I'm ready," she started to paddle the same time Dani did. "Ohmygods. This is actually really fun!"

Dani grinned. "See? Water totally is great!" They kept paddling and Dani loved the rush of it all. She wasn't lying when she said she loved water. She didn't even notice that the canoe was starting to flip... before it actually did flip and she felt herself go under the water.

Dakota didn't even realize what was happening until she felt the cold water on her face, she screamed and she went underwater. She started to struggle around, completely freaking out.

Dani opened her eyes under the water, a small smile on her face. She easily swam back to the surface and sat in the grass. She looked over and saw Dakota flailing around. "Seriously?" she said aloud, before waving her hands to cause a huge wave of water to bring Dakota next to her on the grass. "Calm down, you'll hurt yourself." she teased.

Dakota choked up water, "I. almost. died." she looked at Dani and then couldn't contain her laughter and fell on the ground laughing.
