Crystal glares at the clock, wishing it would hurry up and hit 7:00 or sometime around that so Summer would have to leave.

I suddenly remembered something. "Um, hey, I'll catch you later." I jumped out the window, the delicate glass breaking again. "Sorry, again!" I landed in a puddle of mud and kept running, muddy footsteps leading to the ocean. (Follow me. I'll make thread.)

Looking confused, Crystal jumped through the already broken window, making a mental note to fix it when she got back. Then, using the darkness to her advantage, she followed Summer while making no sound at all.
