Oh. My. Gods. I love this song...so sad. I was at Summer's place yesterday with Rachel Barret(Emily and Rebecca. Wait, right?) and Concrete Angel is so sad...

omg! I was just listening to that song! I love it, but it's so sad, but kind of encouraging you know? How she stands strong despite everything her mom does to her. how she never gives up.

And there are people who actually SUPPORT her mom! They know she's guilty, but for some reason they forgive her! That is unforgivable! She took an innocent child's life away, and has not a speck of guilt from it. That shows how sick and twisted this world has come to be.

I remember the day I showed this to Emily. It was Halloween, and Emily was crying so hard and stuffing her face with candy corn, and then my sister asked for some and Emily growled no. I love the song, and once, I saw the music video and a bunch of people commented on how they knew kids who were abused, and if found out that Martina wrote the song in honor of her abused niece. I also love the ending, where the kids who had died of abuse were hugging each other, but I also found it kind of sad that there were so many abused kids. I hate people who abuse helpless little kids.  ugh, now I'm sad. |
