Mason made sure noone was in the cabin. He lifted up his shirt so he could see his chest. A black line ran across it. Another gift from his father, but this was a curse.

Dakota entered the cabin, she was looking for Ari but saw another boy sitting there looking at his chest, where there was some kind of black line across it, "Hey, what happened?" she asked sitting down next to him.

Mason turned and saw the girls. He sighed. "Fine, I'll tell you. My father doesn't really like me, you know, Erebus. One day, I did something that angered him so much, something a child of Erebus wouldn't do. He cursed me, that's what this is. I can't do some of my powers, my weapons skill has went down. It makes me almost less than ordinary."

Mason's eyes widened. "Y-yes..." He said shakily. "My father made me..." He noticed her intense electrifying eyes, somewhere in them there was love for this unknown sister. (Wanted to add something touching) Tears started rolling down Mason's cheeks. His breath quickened. "He made me...hurt..her...using my powers..."

His heart was pounding. "Uh....C-catherine..." A voice inside his head yelled at him. Don't you dare tell her! Unless you want something worse to happen to you...think...what could be worse than a curse...
(I'll just make up a name) "Lupin, that's her name, Catherine Lupin." He felt a small pain in his chest starting to rise.
