When Taiyo was younger, she was praised for her wonderful art, but made fun of for being so strange, and many strange things happen to her. Her mother was very sweet and loved her, but she was too protective and never really let her find out what she was until she was 17. Her shelter raising also made it hard for her to trust people, so she doesn't talk with most people, or look them straight in the eye.
