Cody was standing by the Hecate table. He paced back and forth, glance at the Aphrodite table. His eyes locked on Katie for a moment, then he took a big sip of Vanilla Coke. Just talk to her.. He thought.

Katie poked at her food absently, not really hungry. Kind of hard to be hungry when you weren't sure if someone you liked liked you back.

Ally appeared sitting at the Hecate table in a cloud of quickly disappating purple dust. She saw her half-brother staring at the Aphrodite table, and, mildly curious, she snuck into Cody's mind. Then she snorted. "Dude," she said. "Just talk to her."

Cody sat down at the table. "Eh, what if I make a fool of myself?" He made a orb of black smoke in his hands and rolled it around the table.

He took a deep breath. He stood, glancing over at Ally and headed over to the Aphrodite table. Chiron raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything. Some of the Aphrodite girls were looking at him. He cleared his throat. "Uh, hi Katie.."

Nirvana watched Cody go up to the Aphrodite girl, "He loves her?" she asked Ally in a quiet tone.

Katie turned to face Cody, slightly surprised, and then felt her cheeks burn. "Um...hi," she said. Then she mentally kicked herself for sounding like an idiot.

Cody's eyes changed from blue to purple, his eyes turned purple when he's nervous. "Uh, I was wondering.....do you want to do something..later...?" He relaxed a little. 'At least I got that out' He thought to himself.
"Cody Marcus! Sit Down!" Mr. D. yelled. Cody cursed under his breath and started to move back toward his table.

Katie was shocked for a moment. Then she recovered her wits and just as Dionysus was screaming at Cody to go sit back down, she said, "Um, sure."
