Alec Matthews was one for loyalty. His two best friends went missing during his stay in Camp Half-Blood. And this was not his thought of "ok". The son of Dionysus made a choice, a very long thought out. For days, he sat stony, pale, crabby. For days he mapped out every night where he would search. Starting at their last seen location. Italy.
Within a week of planning Alec left his frienemies, Summer and Crystal for Italy. Where a wonderful, and wierd surprise awaited. The plane right, was surprisingly safe. He didn't trust the sea, due to the fact he probably was hated more by Poseidon than by Zeus, who thankfuly was his grandfather, and he prayed to Dionysus would spare him his life.
Reaching the Venice airport, he drove through the streets of Rome. And the one day he decided to give up and go back. He decided to make wine. Now he was very good at making wine, but this wine. These Italian grapes, were better, richer. And Alec knew, these grapes were works of demi-gods. Going into a nearby villa he requested to see all the children in the house. The oldest, being a young girl of 9. And it was her, that grew the vines. That night Alec slept under the safe villa. But his visit changed the tides, it turned out. He was being followed, some monsters were seeing if he could lead them to a bigger population of demi-gods. And that's when Alec, for once in a month raised his sword. Under the night's blanket he was fortunate, not only did he survive. But his friend Jack was there in the forest waiting for the perfect moment to attack the monsters.
After a joyful, and well drunk reunion. Alec found out his best friends, were actually his brothers. And for months he stayed with his old trio Jack, Alec, and Kayden, were finally together once more. Alec showed them how to make vines grow thick and strong, battle ready, Jack showed Alec how to change nearly anything into a dolphin, and Kayden showed Alec how to make sweeter wine. The three exchanged knowledge on theirs powers. Then one night Kayden asked Alec of Camp Half-Blood. That night Jack said "Man what are doing here? Italy is great, but that camp sounds better," the next day Alec took a plane back. Kayden and Jack are still off touring Italy and inhancing their knowledge of their powers. Alec ofcourse keeps in touch, and is constantly learning new skills.
