She couldn't help it. She was taken aback by her cheerfulness. She blushed bright red at the comment of her accent. The kids were nice here. She had only been made fun of for her accent in her life. She never felt like a daughter of Nike. She was always the one bullied because of her small figure. "T-thank you very much." She controlled her habit for once, not saying the ending phrase. It sounded weird, Japanese and English together in one sentence.

Izumi-no-Jade sat down on the edge of her bed, nit knowing what to say next. She liked peopled like this though. They made her feel happy and cheerful. Even if it was the nervous kind of happy and cheerful.

She went out of the cabin. She looked back and smiled. Two new friends. Much better than her first day of school.
