Jacob smiled. He brushed his fingers through her hair. He was happy. When moments like these; being with people he really cares about, he feels truly happy. Now he really regrets joining Gaia. He couldn't tell Ari though. And he had to save his sister. Jacob had no clue how he was able to act normal the whole dance. And why was so concerned with this girl? Jacob was bothered when she called a boy cute. He can't get to close to people. He has to save his sister. He has to seperate others from him. He hs no choice. He got a horrible aching feeling in his stomach. "Sorry! I need to go!" Jacob rushed out.
(Yeah I gotta join Gaia... cya)

As Jacob was running out he tried to hold his tears. "I'm sorry Ari..." he whispered. "I have to do this." That's when he saw Gaia. It was time to leave.

Terry glanced around and saw Jacob run off from the party. He went over to Ari. "Are you crying? You okay?" He now considered her a friend from the Greeks. He was concerned in a slight way.

"Alright then..." Terry wasn't convinced at all. But he said the words to keep from bothering her about her feelings. Terry sighed and scratched his head.
"Well, shouldn't you just tell him?" The words were sudden, but she knew what he meant. It was obvious that Jacob liked Ari. And Ari seemed to like him back...

Ari looked at Terry for a while, "He doesn't care enough to pay attention. I'm done with that anyways. I gave up on us. I guess i'll have to focus on us being friends."

Terry shrugged. Maybe he was...but he jnew he wasn't. "So no more of him?" Terry nodded and looked around. "So what's Greek camp like?" He decided to change the subject.

Terry thought about it. These were demigods just like him. They had just been brainwashed because they had done something bad.
