Terry shook his head at them, planting himself in between them. He was facing Ryder as if he was going to lunge forward, but of course, it was the opposite away around. They wanted to tear out his throat, he was on defensive. Terry glared at Ryder. "He's been warned. I will report him, of course."

"Stop it!" Terry shook his head, avoiding contact to the eyes. He was weak with pleading. But he remembered what he wanted to do. Terry met his eyes and repeated firmly. Jacob sighed and mouthed something. "Of course no one gets that..." he muttered. "You're right, Terry. But I just wanted to help. Ari deserves better. I just wanted to hurt him like he hurt her. But I guess that is selfish. And I'm sorry about that. You can do whatever you want with that asshole," Jacob said and gestured to Ryder. "I'm definatly not staying here." On the way out, he picked up his Dr. Pepper.

Terry watched as they both left. Then he turned back with one final glare at Ryder. Then he walked off. He would report him. And even though what Jacob said was true, that he deserved more punishment, he would have to deal with for now.
