I walked in wearing dirty boot cut jeans, a Gryffindor T-Shirt, and black flip flops. Red hair pulled back into a messy ponytail. Setting my back pack on some empty bed and sat there, "Alex!!" The tabby she-cat came running and jumped onto my lap. I stroked her fur for a while.

Katie looked up from the book she was reading. Her rabbit, Snowcrystal, was sitting in her lap and chewing on Katie's jeans. "Oh, hey," Katie said, putting her book away. Snowcrystal stared at Grace and twitched her nose. That was her way of saying 'hi'.

I leaned down to pet the bunny and I looked at the girl, "Hey. I'm Grace. You?"

Katie smiled. "Katie Butler. Aphrodite Cabin leader." She looked down at her bunny rabbit. "This is Snowcrystal."

Snowcrystal batted at Alex playfully. Katie smiled. "Thanks. I really like cats but my dad would only let me get a rabbit. Still, I like Snowcrystal."

Lorelei knocked on the door, then pushed it open. "Hey, Katie. Do you wanna..." I trailed off when I saw Grace and smiled. "Hi."
