Yep. Here's the advertisement for my new site.
Ever since there were humans, there were mermaids. First, the deep sea mermaids. Then the more shallow mermaids, soon leading to river mermaids and swamp mermaids. But these are not creatures of your happy fairy tale. These are dangerous.
When human first encountered mermaids, they tried to kill them. Since it was murder, the mermaids were determined to get revenge. Thus began the great battle between he humans and the mermaids. Sometimes the humans were winning, and sometimes the mermaids were. But no one won. For the war is still going on.
It wasn't a good time for aliens to come. But that's just what aliens do, come when you need them the least. And those aliens wanted earth for themselves. They attacked at night, killing over a dozen humans before they even got some weapons to scare them off.
Humans realized that their dreams of befriending aliens were in the past now, and they posted fliers and posters and sent requests, begging for recruits. But only a few humans came. Slowly, the humans realized they would have to start playing bad. They went to houses and took children that were 81+ to be forced recruits.
Back to the mermaids. The deep sea and shallow sea mermaids saw these fliers and also received distress calls from the aliens. Many wanted to fight with the humans, but some were intent on fighting with the aliens to prove their anger directed towards the humans.
Choose your side.

NONE?
