Jacob shuddered at the sight of the creepy sword. He really felt like training alone so he shook his head and said, "No thanks, I'm good."

I shrugged and turned to Krissie. I whispered so softly so that Krissie only could hear it, " What do you think about Jacob? Do you think he really meant to stay with Gaia?"

Jacob sighed. He decided to get back to training. He was alreadi good with a sword, so he decided to practice archery.

I retreated a few paces so that I could keep an eye on Krssie. Once in a while, I'd flash a glance at Jacob.

Krissie shrugged, flipped her dark as night hair back over her shoulder, and cast a quick glance at Jacob. "Mm. If he's not loyal, we could always kill him later," she said in a hushed tone.

I winced at the mention of killing him, but didn't object. I mean, after all, he did deserve it if he betrayed Gaia, especially after making the sacrifice...right?

"Back to training," Krissie announced, and slashed at Summer's chest. Standing already close to her the blow would be hard to dodge.

My knife flashed and pushed Krissie's blade up, but not in time to avoid it completely. A new scar ran from under my left eye to my jaw.

Krissie jumped back and pulled her sword back. She looked Summer over. "That was good," she praised. Then she tried another blow, more casual this time, aiming for Summer's stomach area.

I smiled slightly. "Thanks." I blocked her sword easily this time.

Krissie pushed her blade forwards, ignoring Summer's comment. "No time for thanks," she said stiffly.

I nodded sharply, and stepped to the side, removing my blade from the lockdown. I slashed at Krissie's side.

Krissie took a few hasty steps back and Summer's blade missed. Krissie swung Daemon in a wide arc, aiming for Summer's throat area.

I ducked her blade. I stepped forward and sliced at her stomach area.

Krissie blocked Summer's knife with her own blade. It looked a little strange because Summer had been aiming for Krissie's stomach area, though.

I retreated a few steps, then sliced at Krissie's face, followed by a kick. Hopefully, if Krissie tried to duck, I would kick her in the face(xD).

Krissie blocked Summer's knife with her sword. Summer kicked Krissie's shin, but the daughter of Poseidon didn't even wince.
