I raced towards my cabin. I doubted Shade even knew where it was. Well, it wouldn't be hard. It was right next to his.

Shade remembered and took a turn towards his cabin. It was next to it. Since he was new, he couldn't remember the cabin places that well

I saw him realizing that it was near his cabin. I put on extra speed.

Shade was going at a steady pace, spotting the blue cabin. He blinked in surprise as Caroline pulled ahead of him. He laughed and raced after her. He caught up, running beside her.

I noticed that he was next to me out of the corner of my eye. I grinned and urged myself to go faster. Then I tripped over a freakin' rock.

It happened fast, but Shade's reflexive training helped him. He caught her arm, but she was too far in the fall. He yanked her upward and hugged her to him. He landed on his back in the grass, letting out a small sigh of relief. Then he realized how close she was.

Shade blushes, trying to turn away. But it was hard with Caroline on top of him. He doesn't know what to do. Pushing her off would seem rude....

Shade got up. He looked at her cabin.
"Well, you won actually...you fell forward, so your reach was longer first..."
