"Oh, thank God," Jacob said. He layed back down. His make-shift pillow (his magic backpack) seemed to have more mass then usual. He pulled it up to see what was under it. A book. Curiously, he picked it up. It looked ancient. It had a metal owl emblem on the cover. He opened it up and on the very first page was a note. He read it slowly:
Dear Jacob,
I am here to tell you that I forgive you. I can't meet you in person. And I must keep this message brief. This book will tell you anything want to know. It's like the device Google. Use it wisely. It will come in handy. I know you did this for your sister. But please don't go through with this. Save your sister and escape. And about Mikayla, she I truly wish I could tell you more, but Zeus is suspecting something. Sincerely,

Jacob skimmed through the book. Every page was blank. what's this good for? Jacob threw it to the side. "I wish I could see what was going on at camp..." he thought out loud. Suddenly the book open to a random page. Words were suddenly on it. Curiously, he looked at it. Greek letters and a translation. Being dyslexic, he read the Greek. It was some sort of spell. Despite his instincts, he said it anyway. "Åäþ ïýôå åêåß, íá ãßíåé." Suddenly, he saw camp. It was like he was there, but wasn't. He saw it in 3rd person. Sudenly, a body formed from a clay like substance. As it formed, it looked more, and more like Jacob. Then his view was from the body of clay. (It's hard to explain, kay?) He moved his hands. Jacob was in two places at once. Gaia's gonna kill me! he thought.

Krissie made it evident she didn't believe him. But luckily for Jacob, she didn't press. "Right," she said sarcastically. "But listen, boy, if I find out you're disloyal to Gaea, I won't hesitate with killing. Now," she said, changing the topic completely, "I dropped my ring I got from...you don't need to know. Have you seen one? It has an emerald gemstone and six tiny diamonds on each side."
