Ethan opened his eyes to find a girl staring at him. "Who?" He croaked. His body ached. He couldn't even remember what happened. "It's okay, I'm taking care of you." She said as she felt his forehead. Ethan blinked the blurryness out of his vision. "What happened? And where am I? I'm suppose to be at my house in Florida." The girl laughed. "Well, that was some mighty concussion you got there. Let me see if I can jog your memory." "Okay...?" He said. She sat at the end of his bed. "Hunters of Artemis?" He shook his head. "Hellhound?" He shook his head yet again. "Your brother? Ewan?" His eyes widened. "Is he really..." The girl nodded.

Tears ran down Ethan's face. "And my mother, a goddess...she couldn't save him! She couldn't save her own son, my little brother!" The girl put a hand on his shoulder. "Gods are busy, they ignore their children. Your mother, who ever she is, may not have known about they attack in the first place." Ethan's blue eyes turned dark. "It was her fault."
