(I was bored. Someone post!)
Caroline
I was taking a random stroll through the forest. It wasn't much different from the one at the Roman camp.
Today was a fairly nice day. The sun was high up in the sky; it was after lunch. But it was one of those days where the sun seems watery and there aren't beams of strong heat coming down on you. There was a cool breeze in the air. It wasn't really like a summer day should be. More like a spring day. The breeze made me shiver slightly.
I rubbed my bare arms, trying to make friction to drive away the cold. But the cold only lasted for a while. It was weird.
The leaves blocked most of the sun's light, so there was randomly small spots of warmth.
I had on a plain blue t-shirt that matched the sky, which had fluffy lazily floating white clouds scattered around in the blue depths. Black soccer shorts were partially hidden by the gem of my shirt. The soccer shorts had a white Nike logo on it. Nike...it caused me to remember Jade, daughter of Nike. She had been killed, all because of Gaia...
Tears started up in the corner of my eyes. No. The main purpose of this walk was to not think about Gaia or anything, and just try to experience a normal camp day. Well, as normal as it gets. My eyes quickly dried.
Dry leaves and twigs cracked under my sneakers. I didn't feel like making sure I was stealthy. At least not today. Not right now. My blonde curls were tied in a loose ponytail, casually leaning against my back.
My sword was in it's leather sheath on my belt. It was in a easily reachable position, in case of any monster attacks.
I walked relaxed and casually. The woods were silent, but yet they were full of life. Birds chirping softly to one another, paws scrambling on the soft sandy floor as animals moved, the occasional roar of a monster.
To me, camp was perfect right now. But it wouldn't last. Nothing perfect did. Now if there was only someone around to talk to...

Krissie knew spying wasn't needed...but Gaea liked in-depth descriptions, and if one of her army was there, they could attempt to convince someone to join. Sure, Gaea did that as well, but, no one minded another recruit, right?
Right now Krissie was perched on a high branch. She'd been there for a few minutes, and the few monsters that spotted her got blasted by a ray of light coming from Krissie's sword, Daemon.
Caroline passed underneath the tree Krissie was concealed on. She was practically impossible to see. Krissie narrowed her eyes, remembering the quick fight between her and Caroline-Carry seemed to be her nickname-at the first battle.
Krissie scurried across the branch, quite like a squirrel, until she was dangling her legs lazily off a branch, sitting on it like it was a chair. She figured trying to recruit someone else wouldn't be bad. Even if Caroline refused, Krissie would just flash out.
"Hey there," she called, smirking.

At the voice, I lifted my head up to my right and saw Krissie sitting on a branch. My eyes narrowed with disgust at the sight of her. Jade's murderer. "You."
How dare she come back to the camp? Tears began to form in the corners of my eyes. She freakin' killed Jade! I drew my sword. The tears disappeared just as fast.
I mean, come on, Gaia! I just wanted one day-one freakin' day- without having to worry about this stuff. Is that really too much to ask for? And to make it worse, Jade had died because of this.
"Jade is dead." I murmured absentmindedly to myself. The world around me went blurry for a moment. I couldn't hear anything but myself. Then everything sharpened again, and I suddenly remembered where I was. I swung my head to glare up at Krissie again. "Jade is dead." I said louder. My voice rose to a shout. "You killed her! You freak!"

(Listen to this song when you're reading my post, because it's a good song, and the background music really goes with it...: www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0rJFF72gRE&feature=related ) Krissie shrugged lightly, like she didn't care. Truth was, she felt sick to the stomach for once. Krissie had enough of people caling her 'freak'. On top of that being repetitive, it was annoying, and even though Krissie was one of Gaea's army, she still had feelings, you know. Before anyone gasps and faints at that line, you have to know no matter how much a ruthless, emotionless killer Krissie may be, she's still human. And, no matter how cheesy the next line will be, still has a heart...somewhere. "It was your beloved Shade I'd been ordered to kill, Caroline," Krissie said coldly. No hint of the churning emotions inside showed in Krissie's hard gaze. "Jade just happened to step in front. I don't suppose you rather me have slaughtered your boyfriend?" It wasn't really noticiable, but Krissie's voice wavered the slightest at the last word. She had a boyfriend. Supposed that he was her ex, now...Krissie pushed the thought from her mind. Now is no time to get touchy-feelly about any subject.Krissie crossed her arms, and didn't say anything else, waiting for Caroline's response.

(lol I am. xD)
Caroline
It was true. I would rather Jade die then Shade(hey, that rhymed! lol). But I didn't say that. "No, I would rather you have killed me!" And it was true. I glared at her. "Why, Krissie; why did you join Gaia?" I met her eyes. There were tears in mine. "Why do you hate the Olympians so much?"
I didn't get it. I didn't get why anyone had joined Gaia. Except for Shade and Jade. But they eventually turned good again. But as for Krissie and others...

Krissie met Caroline's glare, hoping no emotion was showing. That would pretty much ruin everything, but she trained herself to not show any pain, fear, or any other emotion, basically. Krissie crossed her arms. "That's cute," she sneered. "You think the gods care about you."

"And they do. They're just busy. Not just saving their own butts. They're like us, too. They have a family to argue with. A bigger one and they have more responsibilities than us. So you shouldn't be complaining." I shot back.

Krissie snorted in disgust. "They're immortals! They can clothe, kill about a million people they don't like, and take a bath with the snap of a finger. They could wave their hands and all your problems would be gone, but no, they worry about their perfect little pathetic god family instead!" Krissie snapped. "If they helped the demigods, none of us would've helped Gaea rise, if they showed they cared about us, no one would be angry," she continued bitterly. "
There was a rustling behind Krissie but she just waved her hand. With a yelp, the mosnter creeping up behind the two promptly exploded into dust.
"Gods go on having children after children, and completely forget about the one before! Sure, at the spur of the moment, 'oh look I have a daughter' then later 'child? which one?'!" Krissie was practically seething, and in one of those weird cartoons she'd probably have smoke coming out of her ears.
"If the gods cared at all they wouldn't be up there on their pretty little thrones at Olympus. They'd help the demigods. Will they?" Krissie paused, pretending to think. "No, of course not."
(Do you wanna bring a god in to make it interesting? xD)

(Sure xD)
Caroline
She did have a point...No. What was I thinking? It would take a lot to convince me, since Shade returned. Not that I wanted to join...what the heck? Why was I thinking this?
I shook the thoughts out of my head.
Finally, I said, "Well, I don't care."

(CALL NOT RPING IT! ER, HIM OR HER!)
Krissie sighed, then ran her hand through her black as night hair. "I'll take that as in you don't have anymore witty comebacks," she said sarcastically. "You realize Gaea could give you much more? That's why your beloved Shade joined in the first place," Krissie said. She lost her menacing tone. "She'll give you full control of your powers...immortality...anything you want..." Krissie didn't add, within reason, of course.
(I iz reading random Phineas&Ferb fanfics xD)

Krissie sneered, and with a menacing, slightly mocking voice, she said, "Why?" Krissie crossed her arms again. "What's keeping you here? The gods don't care about their children, but Gaea does."

My eyes flashed. "If Gaia cared about her children, she wouldn't be trying to overthrow their children!"

Krissie snorted. "Kronos never liked his children. Of course, what's a mother to do, then finish what he started? Try to destroy them once and for all. Besides, you never answered my question. Why wouldn't you join Gaea? 'I'm loyal to the gods' isn't really an answer you know," she said. Strangely enough, Krissie sounded genuinely curious.

"Oh, I don't know," I started sarcastically, and rolled my eyes. "My friends? My father? Your father." I hope that last part hit a spot.

Krissie flinched inwardly but kept her mask void of all emotion. "Technically they're different, Poseidon and Neptune," she said dryly. "And who cares about friends, even family, when all they do is betray you? Or die on you?" she added, somewhat bitterly.

"Well, you are weak," Krissie sneered. "And I'm afraid if you don't join I'll have to make you forget this conversation ever happened."

Terry was passing by. His mind was in a torrent anger at Shade's behavior. Just because he had come back, everyone acted like he deserved a cookie for it. Terry rolled his eyes at the thought and paused when he spotted Caroline talking to someone. He blinked, recognizing Krissie. She was the one that had killed Jade. He narrowed his eyes in suspicion. What was she doing here, talking to Caroline? There was no way Caroline would be a traitor. So he summoned his staff in a burst of shimmering golden light and ran up to the daughter of Nepune. He looked up at Krissie with narrowed eyes. Wihout a word, gray tendrils of energy rose up around him. He hated them all. Gaea's soldiers. He didn't care anymore about being nice to them. They had hurt his friends. Killed one person he was hoping he would get to know. They had changed everything. They should all just die. He was wordless, ready to attack her.
