I turned at the sound, then sighed in relief when I realized it was Terry. "Terry." I smiled slightly, then turned to Krissie with a glare. "It seems like Gaia's now sending traitors into camp, trying to get new recruits."

Terry didn't reply. He looked up at Krissie. Hostility was lining his expression. "Why are you here. No one's going to join. Why don't you get out before someone makes you." He was literally begging for a fight. He was in a horrible mood after the fight with Shade. He had realized that Gaea was always at fault. Always. He wished she would just disappear with the rest of her traitors. Yes, he was being too harsh. But he was just too blinded right now to think straight.

(Meh, she can't get on til morning anyway. Like 11 eastern time or something. I really don't know what to say right now.)
My grip tightened on my sword, in case Krissie suddenly attacked. Did she really think that she could convince someone? For all I could tell, there wasn't anyone likely to turn. Well, besides that Ethan guy. Though I had a sinking feeling that he already did.

Krissie stared back at Terry casually, ignoring Caroline for the moment. "Nice to see you again," she said scathingly. "No one's going to make me leave and if I do it's of my own accord."

"Well your mouth is actively working. So get your brain to follow this question." Terry's hard gray eyes are cloudy, like a storm about to break. "What are you doing here? And where is Ethan? I went to talk to him over his skills to write out a new battle plan but I couldn't find him anywhere." He knew the answer already.

My eyes darkened. "He joined, didn't he?" I sighed. "I knew it." Gods, more people were joining everyday. It wouldn't be long before gods actually started switching sides.

Terry sighed. What Caroline said was true, but kind of cheesy. Terry had only one reason now. He didn't really care about protecting his friend's anymore. He had Shade. Now he was totally different. He had a decent life at Roman camp. But that was gone too. He wanted to kill every single soldier of Gaea. "The one's that will be in Tartarus are you and your stupid traitors! And I want to speak with Ethan!"

I blinked. I've never really seen Terry lose his temper except when Shade came back from Gaia and now, of course. But I wasn't going to stop him. Krissie deserved it.

(Hm...maybe Terry should join Gaea. Who knows....I'm thinking about it....)
Terry pauses for a while. He had nothing now. Nothing. Gaea had taken it all away from him. He's silent.
Do you really think you have lost everything? What about Elaine? And your brother, Dodge?
Terry immediately pales at the mention of the two. But what could that do if he joined? Shade was finally back, even though he didn't consider him as a friend anymore. And what of Jade? If he joined, her death would have been in vain,
