{:P I was bored...so I made a new thread...how many times have I done this? xD I use my latest fav. song always. Today it's "Imaginary" by Evanescence.}
Believe or not, Xylia Melinda [xD Summer?] Flynn could sing.
Sure, she was an escaped mentally deranged seventeen year-old...but she wasn't all crazy, you know...ish.
Still.

I jumped down from the tree branch I had been watching on. "You're really good at singing."
My sword was in an easily reachable place. It's not like I went around randomly killing people. But there was something different about this girl that just felt...off.
I smiled at her casually. "What's your name?"

Terry was out walking. Of course he had a book in his hand while he walked. He heard singing that mad him put his book down. Good thing too because he wasn't paying much attention to his path and probably would have ended up slamming into a tree. Terry blinked. It wasn't time for campfire, so who was it? He walked into the amphitheater to see Caroline and the new girl. Shade had told him she was the daughter of Mania, and slightly...insane. But she could carry a tune. Terry walked over with the same calm expression he always had. "Hi Caroline. Hi, I'm Terry Coleman, son of Minerva." He greeted Caroline, then Xylia.

(xD Katie...Emmy...sorta forgot. TOO MANY ACCOUNTS GAH...Then there's Violetta, Emmy, Katie, Krissie, Xylia...did I forget anyone? Aphrodite...)
Xylia jumped a few feet into the air. She didn't have time to react very fast, because Terry showed up. Xylia automatically ended up with her knife at Caroline's throat. "Don't sneak up on me!" she pouted, then pulled her knife away.
(Insane charries are funneh...I made Jacob cry!)

Terry blinked at her fast movement. He ran up just as Xylia removed the knife, which made him let out a small breath of relief. "No one's sneaking up on you. She just wanted to say hi."

Xylia was babbling on randomly now. These rambles usually lasted a few minutes before Xylia was back to 'normal'.
"...Grape juice tastes good. I also like soda, but diet soda tastes like crap. Literally. Diet Coke, for example, tastes horrible. I like most things that aren't diet. I mean, ew!"
Xylia flashed a smile at Terry. "Don't get me started on..."
A FEW MINUTES LATER...

Terry had nearly shouted at her to stop, but he waited patiently, a hand to his forehead to keep the headache from getting any worse. He nodded, not really getting all of it. "That's...nice..." He was just relieved she was finally done.

Terry sighed and stood up, looking at Caroline. That was a lot of talk right there he had just gone through, but he calmed himself. "So, how did you get to camp? Did your parents send you here?"
Terry blinked. Little did he know it was a bad question because it usually hit a touchy spot for most demigods...

Xylia checked her reflection in her knife, which made her look pretty jacked up...you could use that term to describe her mental state, though. "Nope! I was chased to Camp Half-Blood by some bitches from the mental hospital that were not very happy when I escaped. 'Bout my parents-yeah, I killed 'em. They were big fat meanies, though." ( Haha) |

Terry remained completely calm on the outside, even though he wasn't sure how because he was pretty shocked on the inside. Killed her own parents...Well, yeah, that would explain her being in a insanity facility. But that she broke out..? So she wasn't supposed to be here. What to do? Terry caught Caroline's looks. He raised his hands helplessly and looked back at Xylia, finding his voice after a while of silence. "Uh..then you're not supposed to be here...shouldn't you go back to the hospital?"

Xylia made a face. "The food there is horrible and everyone looks at me like I'm a maniac," she complained, sounding like a whiny baby. "Moha didn't wike it mwuch eida," she said, holding up her scruffy looking teddy bear for Caroline and Terry.

(If this were real life, I would have walked off to the Big House to convince them to get you back to the hospital lol...but anyway.)
Terry was silent for a moment, studying the girl. At least she didn't lash out randomly to kill someone. She just acted differently. Well, way differently. Terry decided to just let it be. "So you like it here so far?"
