Terry blinked at the bear. It was already in ruins. It was beyond repair for regular sewing which he was good at. No, he wasn't a sissy. He had to take care of himself alone so whenever he had a hole in his shirt or jeans or needed to replace a button, he did it himself. Maybe she should get a new one, but the girl seemed so attached to it. "Do you think you should wash it sometime?"

Xylia scared me. From then on, I tried to stay out of the conversation. She was just freaking me out with her Teddy bear and randomness. "Um, I need to go back to my cabin."
I started scooting away. I shot Terry a, I'm sorry for leaving you with... look.
(Ha ha, lol, she's leaving you alone with crazy.)

"You-!" Terry nearly grabbed her hand as she scooted away. He decided to let her go in case Xylia saw that Terry didn't want to be left alone to talk to her. She might get upset. So Terry just turned back with a nervous smile.

Terry looked back at the crazy girl. How was he supposed to talk to her? Without her going crazy, that is. If he said something that hit a soft spot for her, it was like hitting an on switch to a bomb. One minute countdown, then explosion. Terry shifted for a second before looking at her warily.
