Luner had decided that she would see how she did with archery. She had brought the bow and arrow her father had given her for hunting with her to camp, so she decided to use that. "Okay. I'm sure it can't be that hard to hit a target," Luner murmured to herself. She took aim, and looked at the center of the target. Her hand let go, and she was suddenly discouraged. Her arrow flew BEHIND the target. she ran to see if she had hit anyone.

Emmy sulked into the archery range, , passing behind the targets. Then an arrow flew out of nowhere and nearly hit Emmy, who ducked and the arrow bounced off a rock instead. "What the-?"

Emmy looked, rather startled, at the girl who'd walked up to her. "Nah, it's alright," she said while straightening up. "It's always hard the first time...unless you're a child of Apollo or Diana...Artemis...whatever." Emmy smiled at Luner. "Emmy Roberts, daughter of Pluto. Nice to meetcha."

Emmy shook her head. "Naw. It nearly hit a tree, though, but luckily for you it didn't. Dryads can be pretty nasty when needed." Emmy motioned towards the strangely shaped rock at the base of some kind of tree. Emmy really didn't know the difference. "I'm not the best at archery either."
(It seems that none of my charries are good at archery...)

Luner sighed in relief. "Someone else that's not great with archery. Thank Athena. I've only seen other archers, and they're all so good. It doesn't help that no one seems to be very..... friendly to me so far. I don't understand why though...."

"I can't say I'm surprised. My uncle was in war. It scared him mentally. He ended up in a mental hospital. But in this war, we have the addition of having to keep an eye out for traitors in camp. I can see why no one seems to be very trusting of a new comer," Luner replied sulkily.
