Luner sat by the lake, watching the waves coming and going. She was miserable after her attempt at archery ending in a horrible fail. "I wish I wasn't always such a screw up. I can't do anything. There's no way i could be a daughter of ANY of the gods. But mortals can't get here, and I'm here," she muttered to her self.

I smiled as I popped my head out the water. I hope I didn't scare her. "You're not a screw-up! You just need practice." I got out of the water and went to sit next to her. My clothes and hair weren't wet in the least bit.
"Hi, I've never seen you around before. Are you new? Did you just get here? What's your name?" I would have said more, but I figured I was overwhelming her with the questions. "I'm Caroline Miller."

I cracked a smile at her exclaim. "My dad's Neptune. Poseidon, as you Greeks call him. I'm from the Roman camp."
"So just got here yesterday? Well, even though this camp isn't as awesome as the Roman camp-" I smirked slightly at that. "-this camp is still pretty cool. Have you seen any cool place yet, besides the lake?"

"Not yet. And don't dis the damn Greeks. Roman's are cool, and i know who Neptune is. He and Pluto are my fave Roman gods, and Poseidon and Hades are my Greek faves. I hoped to be a Hades kid, but no luck," Luner said flatly. Suddenly having an urge to get into the water, Luner stood up and jumped in. Did I get her wet? She thought.

"Hey, I wasn't fussing you guys!" I protested, laughing a bit. When she jumped in, water flew everywhere around me. I felt the coolness of it on my skin. But I wasn't wet, unless I wanted to be. It amazed me everytime.

After a few moments, I got up and jumped into the water. "Hi, Luner!" I said, my voice sounding like I had recorded it. Strange thing about underwater. I concentrated and made bubbles gather around Luner's head, forming an air bubble.
