Terry walked into the clearing. He stared at the ruins of the Wolf House. This is where he had nearly died. This is where Shade had left Gaea. This is where Jade had died. Now he and Shade were back.

Shade stood behind Terry. He hated it here. It made him uncomfortable. He could feel his other personality screaming to be let out. And right there is where Izumi, his 'sister', died. Shade felt like running, but this had to be carried out. The plan was to fake join, get Dodge, and run...

I trailed behind a little, studying the place cautiously. "This place has changed so much..." I murmured. I had only been here once before, and that was before it had been blown up. "I really hope this works," I murmured.

My eyes narrowed. At my silent command, the few soldiers of Gaea that were on guard duty with me grew tense and alert. We had practiced this many times. At the snap of my fingers, they spread out. If the intruders tried to run, we would circle them. As I stepped out of my hiding spot from behind a tree, I recognized who it was. My eyes widened.

Ace was blended into the trees, watching silently for it all to just happen. He gritted his teeth. He had made trees enclose his prescence. He prayed this would work.

I quickly hid my surprise at seeing the other two with him. "Terry, Shade...Caroline? Why are you guys here?" But I knew why. They were here for Dodge. Gaea's plan had worked. They had gotten Terry, and two others.
But the thought made me sad. Terry was being forced to join or Gaea would kill someone close to him. We really were the bad guys...and I couldn't have figured it out before I had killed all those people at the camp...

"So you've decided to join us." Gaea's earthy voice rang through the clearing. A figure of a woman with closed eyes formed itself from the ground. "And you brought your friends too."
A tendril of earth curled up around Shade like a cat. It wrapped itself loosely around his neck teasingly before pulling away. "A lost dog has found its way back to the master."

Shade controlled himself from wacking away the dirt. He didn't say a word, but he looked at Gaea and her soldiers unflinchingly.

When Gaea appeared, I quickly bowed to her, and backed away.
Caroline~
I flinched slightly when the earth went near Shade. After that, I kept my eyes fixed on Gaea. I have to admit, I was a little scared of her. I had seen what she could do. But I wasn't going to run away.

Gaea let out a small sigh. "Demanding, aren't you? I'll let you see him once."
The earth erupted to her side as a mound of dirt rose into a large hill. The dirt curled away into bars. Inside was Dodge. He stood up immediantly at the sight of Shade and Terry.

Terry took a step forward at the sight of his brother. Shade did too. But they bothe held themselves back because this was Ace's turn.

So that was Dodge? He did look a little like Terry... I braced myself for the signal for the plan. But as the time got closer, it felt more unlikely that it would work...

Now. The ground between Gaea and dodge bubbled and Ace shot himself out of the ground. He grabbed on bar and it began to glow bright green. The bars melted to the ground and he grabbed Dodge by a hand.
"Sorry, mother." Ace siad as he pushed Dodge forward and held out his hands in front of him to create a barrier of gound around the figur of the woman.

There was an angry roar and the ground began to shake. The wall around Gaea melted and she screamed out at the soldiers. "Get those fools!" She held out an arm and a long tendril of ground erupted and wrapped around Dodge's leg.

Ace turned and melted the ground away at Dodge's feet. "Come on, let's go. Dodge, right? We can go-"
It didn't make any sense what happened next. A staff appeared in the Dodge's hands. It was identical to Terry's. The silver edges, however, were not spheres, but blades. Ace had barely enough time to draw his ace card. One slash from Dodge's weapon sliced his card in half. There was a burst of bright green light. Ace's eyes widened. Another swing slashed open his shoulder as he feltt backward onto the ground.
Ace's shoulder stung red hot. He closed his eyes in pain. There was a foot on his chest that was pinning him down.

Shade ran forward o help Ace and Dodge. Seeing dodge suddenly attack Ace... Dodge didn't have dirt brown eyes...He had gray eyes.

Gaea's laugh was terrifying. "Oh, you think I really had your brother? Of course it was a lie! He died long ago. That's just a clone I made. H works for me." The "Dodge" Put his blade down at Ace's neck.
"I can't believe you fell for that, my son. Now you can return to my side. As a prisoner." Gaea tossed a syringe through the air. The needle tip glnted sharp. The contents inside were glowing bright scarlet. The "Dodge caught it and turned back to Ace.

I hesitated on whether or not to go over to Ace, Shade, and Dodge. Then Dodge attacked Ace. Maybe he didn't know Dodge was good again? Then Gaea laughed. It wasnt really Dodge. I started to head towards them, but some guy from Gaea's army blocked my way. He slashed at my head, while sweeping out a leg to trip me. I quickly rolled to the side, then got up. Before he could turn and attack again, I sprinted for them. An arrow whizzed past my head, but I ignored it.

"A clone?" Terry nearly kicked himself for his idiocy. This was a trap! There never was a Dodge. That was a fake Gaea had made. He watched Gaea toss a shot through the air. The stuff inside...what was it? He saw that the fake Dodge was going to use it one Ace.
Terry cursed and summoned his staff, knocking aside one of the soldiers easily.
Shade~ He summoned his swords and lit a black flame. He sliced out in a dnacing black pattern of fire at two kids blocking his way. He looked at Ace. Crap...
