Cora smiled as she walked around the ruined remains Wolf House. It hadn't taken her quiet long to adjust to her new life and she sure as Hades was loving it a lot better than her old. Sadly, something got in the way of her loving it completely.
At that thought, her smile faded and out of the blue came her second personality, she called it Cory. "Cora, Cora, Cora," Cory chided as she wated over to a tree and sat down at the base of it. "You've brought hell to us, now, haven't you, Cora?" There was no reply, of course. Leaning back against the tree, Cory sighed, bursting her hand into flames and watching them intently. "Really, Cora, you could have done much better then this dump." She kicked a rock with her foot. "Well, I suppose I'll be going back into that twisted brain of yours, nothing for me to do here."
She blinked hard and suddenly Cora was back. "How'd I get under this tree..." She mumbled and looked around, noticing her hand flaming and a small patch of grass igniting also. Eyes wide, she guppled and used her other hand to put the grass flames out while she put out her hand flames by will.

Ace walked through the trees. His left arm was in a sling from his mother breaking it. It didn't hurt anymore to him though. He thought about camp. He wondered what Shade and Terry were thinking now.
Everything that had happened until now was too sudden. Agreeing to help Terry get back his brother. His brother turning out to be dead and the dude they rescued was a clne made of earth by Gaea. Ace getting captured. Hour after hour of those burning injections that kept his powers from working. A group of demigods ready to torture him until he rejoined his mother. Summer lashing out to protect him. Gaea ordering to kill Summer. Ace begging his mother not to. In the end, he had sworn on the River Styx he would join her if she spared Summer's life. And she had. Now he was working for his stupid mother again. He didn't want to...but was there a choice?

One explaination how Cora had no idea how she had gotten under the tree? Cory. Cora wasn't fond of her second personality, but even she couldn't argue that it wasn't her, or, at least not a PART of her. It wasn't like she was possesed or anything, but Cora hated Cory's little... interuptions, and that whenever she was either of her selves, the other part of her never remembered what happened. It really sucked, it was like one of her personalities was stuck in time while the other was roaming around.
Cora pondered through her thoughts, before being inturupted by the sound of approaching feet. On instinct, her hands burst into flames and she jumped up, turning around to see a boy with a sling. Her hands still aflame, she tilted her head at the boy. "Who are you?" She said, sounding more actually interested then offending.

Ace took a step back in surprise. The girl had just jumped out. And her hands were on fire. He had been thinking too much to the point where he hadn't sensed her.
Back to being his mother's analyst and intel again, the information from his power "quick judgment" rolled into his thoughts. Coraline Yoill, daughter of Vulcan. Able to create fire.
Ace stopped the train of thought right there. He picked up a few emotions like caution. He held up his good arm in surrender. "Um, Im Ace?"

Cora put the flames out on her hands, keeping them well away from plants and trees in case she needed to make them blaze with fire again. Last thing she wanted was a forest fire.
Staring at the boy, she finally let out a sigh and relaxed a little, though she still had a slight cautious air around her. "Ace. Huh. Like the card. Cool name." She smiled. "I'm Coraline, but call me Cora, though I'm sure any minute you'll meet Cory. I like surprises, you see." He probably had no idea what in the world she was talking about, but that's how Cora prefered it, she was awkward about the whole MPD thing, it was better to let Cory explain.

"Yeah, alright." Ace didn't bother telling her that was where he got his name from. He hadn't had one until recently. Gaea had always referred to him as "my son". When he had run away to camp and lost his memories, Shade had seen his weapon. It was a ace card that turned into a sword at will. Therefore, Ace. He didn't know what she was really talking about, so he did another judgement.
Double personalities. Inability to remember the other personality's experiences. Ace blinked in surprise. Like Shade.

Cora smiled again. "So... What were you doing? Sneaking up on people like that!" She asked jokingly, trying to ignore the surprised look in his eye as he blinked, though she smirked lightly at it. Not many people got it that fast.

"Just walking and thinking." Ace always took walks in the forest to calm himself down. He felt more close to everything in the forest. Ace shifted his sling uncomfortably. He looked at Coraline with his sharp green eyes. He had only been able to tell because she was on Gaea's side.

Cora looked back at Ace, a little startled at the sharp green coloring, but other then that her expression didn't change much. "That's... Nice." Whaat else could she say? Walking and thinking. "Oh, what fun that is!"? No way.
"Well-" Her vioce faultered and she blinked, now Cory. "What the hell..." She spun around, sighing in relief to see the Wolf House, only to spin back around to glare at Ace in confusion. "Who's life has Cora frigged up now?" She asked, staring at him.
(I got bored. XD)

Ace watched her suddenly shift personalities. He was a bit weirded out, but he didn't show it. "I'm Ace, son of...Um, hi." He cut off the part of being son of Gaea. He didn't like being her son. In fact, he wanted to betray her. He had. But now he couldn't because he had sworn in the River Styx to stay loyal to her if Gaea soared Summer's life.

"Son of who?" Cory rolled her eyes and looked around, glad to see Cora didn't move around too much. "Whatever, doesn't matter to me who your parent is." She sighed and messed with the her hair. It wasn't tied back, ugh, she hated that. How was she supposed to do anything with her hair in her face?
"Did Cora tell you?" She smirked and rested her eyes back on Ace questoningly. It was obvious that she probably did, but Cory enjoyed explaining it, watching the listener's creeped out expression was priceless.

"Well, I kind of figured it out myself..." Ace replied to her question. He was relieved that she didn't ask him anymore about his godly parent.

"There's a first. Most just assume I'm crazy and leave." Cory scoffed, still fiddling with her hair. "Then again, who's to say I'm not crazy?" She finally found a ponytail in one of her pockets and started putting up her hair.

Ace nodded at her words. He let out a small sigh. "I don't feel all too sane either." He just said it to make her feel not so left out. Just because your mother was bad, was it right to hate her? It wasn't natural.

Cory rolled her eyes, watching Ace intently. "Probably arn't. But is anyone here really? I've actually noticed most of us here are either regretting joining or have SERIOUS pshycological problems like me." Cory sighed, absentmindedly tapping her foot.

"Because what my mother is doing is wrong!" Ace suddenly looked up. His sharp green eyes were defiant. He realized that he had said that too loud. At least no one else was around...

"Woah woah woah! I'm about to sound like I'm on something but, chill out! And who the hell is your mother anyway?" Cory raised an eyebrow, looking at Ace like he was sprouting another head.

"Ah..." Ace backed up suddenly. He had let it slip before he had thought of it properly. His sharp green eyes lost their sudden fire. "My mother..." Now that he said it, he realized what that meant. She was his family. It wasn't right to hate her no matter what she had done to him. But he did. He hated her more than anyone in the world... "Gaea is my mother."

Cory stared at Ace, her eyes said everything she meant without even saying it out loud: Your frigging mental. "And I thought I sounded like I was on something. Are you nuts? Gaea's child? To be honest, she doesn't seem like the motherly type, despite the whole 'Mother Nature' crap." She shook her head.

Ace shifted uncomfortably in her gaze. What was she thinking right now? He took sudden interest in the grass at his feet, not looking up. "Yeah. Um..."
But Cory was right. Gaea didn't act like a mother. He was just another pawn to her. That's why he hated her. What kind of mother breaks her son's arm? Tortures him with poison? Sends people to beat him up? Tries to kill him?
