(I wanna say I cried, too, but I'd be lying. In fact, I'm laughing right now...seriously. Sometimes I just think I react the opposite of what I should be doing...so, let's just say I cried.)
Retreat? Krissie paused and looked at Jeremy. Ah well. She'd kill him later, then. "You're lucky," she said in a soft voice. She turned into some sort of liquid and sunk into the ground, but not before drowning a few other campers.

I stared at where Ace's body used to be. True, I never really knew him, but his last word had proved something. He had made mistakes, but in the end, he had stayed true to his friends. And that made me wonder. Had he ever really been the enemy? (reminds me of what piper said about Sileana Beuragaurd at the end of the lost hero. Ace's death didn't actually make me cry, but it made me feel kind of sad.)

( Krissie.) I had just finished dragging Jasper to the Infirmary and was coming back outside when I saw that the enemy was retreating. Seriously? It had only felt like an hour... I wasn't even tired yet. Then again, I mostly just dodged attacks, and never really went on offense. "I'll go look for survivors!" I called to no one in paticular.

Terry sat down slowly, staring at the spot where Ace had been. Gaea's words echoing in his head. You should have died. And she was right. He should have. He knew saying itout loud would only make everyone else around him protest. So he kept it to himself. He looked up at the sound of Summer's voice. She was right. They had to get the survivors. They shouldn't let people die when they had a chance to live. Terry would brood about it later.

I forced myself to get up when Summer said to look for survivors. It was a good idea. Maybe it would help me stop thinking about Ace's death....

Shade let out a small sigh and tore himself away from staring at the dirt. Maybe some of the kids who hadn't seen what had happened would think he was crazy. He shook his head and spotted a boot sticking out from behind the bushes. He hurried over to see that an Apollo kid was arching from the tree. An arrow was stuck in his shoulder and had knocked him out. He had broken a leg, but was very much alive. He just couldn't move from the spot. Shade pulled him out from the brush with a tiny grin. "Glad I found you." He helped him to the infirmary.

Jasper slowly sat up, and coughed. " Did we win?" Leon nodded. " I think so. " Brent walked in and saw the wounded bodies. " Geez. Way too many people here"

Caroline~ I started walking around, looking for any signs of life. A guy on the ground next to me twitched, and I nearly jumped in surprise. I had thought that he was dead... I helped him up, but he started falling again. I grabbed his arm before he could fall. A closer look told me that he had broken his ankle. I let him lean on me, and helped him limp to the Infirmary.
Summer~ "I'll go check in the forest..." I felt a twinge of unease as I walked past trees, some fallen, some burned. The gnarled branches cast shadows on the soft sandy ground. Even though the battle was over, there was still some chance that there were still Gaea's soldiers hidden in the woods.

Tai heard Gaea's command along time ago. But he still sat at the tree limb. He hesitated for a second, before dropping down from the tree. He looked at CHB one more time befor slowly walking away.
Jeremy-
Jeremy knelt on the ground. This attack was short. But more devastating. He and Krissie hadn't finished their battle from last time, and would need to finish it next time. Jeremy was exhausted. He wrapped his chainwhip around his waist as he struggled to stand up. "This is so unfair!" he spat. What were the gods doing at this moment? Nothing. But watching their children freaking die.

(I am about to!) Jeremy turned his head to Rachel's direction. "What, you still haven't figured this out yet?!? We are doing all the fighting while the gods watch us freaking die! What have they done to help us?"

I thought about that. "You know, you're right. But gods aren't allowed to change your fate. You can't really do anything about it." (gtg I need to go for dinner)

Caroline~ Hearing Jeremy and Rachel talk, I paused to listen. "Jeremy, the gods probably have their own problems in Olympus, seeing as Bacch-er, Mr.D and Chiron aren't here."

Shade finished helping the kid. He looked around seeing that no one was moving anymore. "We're going to need lots of shrouds." He said dully to no one in particular.

"no duh. Why is it so freaking gloomy here? I mean, would it really kill us to have some good news, or even a day without bad news?" I said, standing up.

Jeremy spoke up. "The good news is... well... what is it?" Despite of his lack of optimism, Jeremy couldn't think of any good news.

"Well I don't know. Maybe we're lucky that we didn't die. Maybe that's our good news." I looked around, seeing all the dead bodies from the battle. "Okay, this is officialy the worst day I ever had.", I said. "A day where good news is that I'm not dead. I mean, I have had that same good news before, but not with so many dead people."

Caroline~ "The good news is that at least some people are still alive." I spoke up softly from where I was standing. "That shows Gaea that we're not done yet. That we have hope as long as we have each other."
