Terra was even more furious at that. "What could be more important than their own children killing each other? Being wiped out? Betraying them to help someone who wants to overthrow them? They could at least tell us they give some support! But I don't see anyone getting a word from them! He said..."
Terra paused, remembering how that creepy kid in the mask could speak into her mnd. She had been having dreams whenever she slept. "He keeps telling me that the gods are just using you guys as soldiers. We are just here to stall and do some damage to Gaea's army."

Summer listened solemnly. Most of what Terra was saying made sense. Then, "...He keeps telling me that the gods are just using you guys as soldiers..." He... Who was he? Summer had a cold feeling that it whoever 'he' was was important. "Terra. Who's 'he'?"

Summer stiffened at Terra's words. "What?" The...the Ace look-alike guy visited Terra in her dreams..? He was appearing in peoples' dreams now? What the hell? Summer wondered what other surprises Gaea and the masked boy held. "He...visits you om dreams?"

Terra nodded and leaned back, closing her eyes. "But he doesn't have a mask on."
She doesn't want to tell them that he was friendly towards her. The monsters and the voice in her dreams were tormenting her, chasing her. But he had appeared and killed off the monsters. She had kicked him at first, and he had been on the ground, mumbling an apology. But she had run off before he could say anything else. Then she had woken up.

Shade feels a shiver run up his spine. What in the world? In her dreams? What was he telling her in her dreams? Gaea must have grown stronger. No wonder some more campers have turned traitor. Through dreams...
"Wait, no mask?"
Shade suddenly stands up, feeling slightly sick. No mask? He said himself he never even showed his face to Krissie. So why would he...?

"He...no mask..?" Summer narrowed her eyes in confusion. He didn't have his mask on in the dreams? And Krissie didn't even know what he looked like? Why would he show Terra?
"Wh-what did he tell you?"

Terra really didn't want to tell them, but she did. They were who she trusted..right? Maybe. But then, why had he helped her? "There were lots of monsters. And a voice mocking me. He didn't say much to me. He just appeared and killed off the monsters. Then I kicked him in the shin and ran off before he could say anything but sorry."

Summer took a moment to register what Terra had just said. He just appeared and killed off the monsters. He had helped her? Probably just to get her to trust him, and convince her to join. After a moment of silence, Summer finally spoke up, forcing a smile onto her lips. "You kicked him in the shin?" She couldn't stand awkward moments.

Shade thought about her words. Yeah, had to be just to gain her trust. Still, it was odd that he wasn't wearing his mask. Though they all probably knew what he looked like. He had to be identical to Ace. But the fact that his eyes were an ice blue threw him off. He looked up to see Summer grinning and sighed. She probably was pretty satisfied to hear that Terra had kicked him. "Well, I guess you did the right thing."

Summer nodded quietly. She wasn't sure how else to respond to this. Why was he targeting Terra, out of all people? Well, she probably had the potential that Gaea needed for her army, but weren't there lots of other demigods who had the same? Well, they had probably already picked their side, but Summer hadn't ever heard of anyone getting dreams from the masked boy.

Terra grinned happily. "Oh yeah, I kicked him really hard. He wasn't expecting it. He was just rolling around on the floor." Terra thought about it. Now that she did, it didn't make much sense. He sounded like he had wanted to tell her something.

Summer smiled again at Terra's words. Terra seemed pretty happy about her actions, too. "Really?" That doesn't sound like him, to be caught off-guard... Summer's eyes narrowed at the thought.

Summer shifted her wandering gaze back onto Terra, smiling again. "Nice." Hmm...did it affect him in real life, though? If Terra had kicked him in a dream, would he actually feel it, and possibly have a bruise when he woke up? Or was he never asleep when he visited dreams? Things like that were confusing to think about.

Terra nodded at Shade's remark, "He seemed to be distracted. But it helped me get away, and the dream ended. It's all good now, right?"
She wanted them to stop pestering her with questions. "So what do you do at this camp?" She asked them. Terra made an attempt to change the subject.

Summer wasn't ready to drop the subject yet, but Terra clearly didn't want to talk about it, and she doubted that she would tell them anything else. "Well, you train, fight monsters, go pegasi riding..." Summer trailed off. "Well, a lot."

"No way! You're not healed yet. Why would you train when you're still injured?"
