Terra efficiently ignored Shade. "So, has anyone seen my watch?" She looks at her wrist with a sigh. It was, of course, bare. "I need it to train, you know."

Summer smiled, a bit amused at her ignoring Shade. Terra reminded Summer a bit of herself when all this hadn't started yet. "Shade's right. You need to stay and rest."

Terra looked up at Summer. "I'm perfectly fine, see?" She cartwheeled across the room, and did some flips. she was a rather skilled combat fighter. But she needed her watch to be complete. She walked back, stretching her sore muscles.
"I'm fine. Just lost some blood. And I asked if anyone has seen my green and gold watch." She was a bit startled to find it gone. It was her treasure that her sister had given her.

Summer sighed in exasperation, but it was clear Terra wouldn't listen. "No, I have not seen your watch. Maybe you left it back in the fields?"

Terra's eyes widened. "No..! I couldn't have...That was..." She pushed past the two and broke off into a run for the fields. It had to be there! She couldn't have lost it...

Summer blinked in surprise as Terra shot past Shade and her. Well. "So, er, should we follow her?" Summer suggested, waving a hand in the direction Terra had gone. She didn't want to take any chances, even though Terra had seemed fine.

Shade turned to watch her race off as if her life depended on it. He looks at Summer with a small smile. "Yeah, Let's follow her. That watch seemed really important to her. Let's help her find it. He started off to the field. He spotted Terra looking around frantically in the grass. Shade bent down to help her. But it didn't seem to be here...
(Second is supposed to have it.)

Terra searched frantically. That watch was more important to her than anything in the world. Her sister had given it to her. It was her only memory of her....

(Oh, drama. lol)
Summer nodded and jogged off after Shade. When she arrived, Terra and Shade were already searching in the grass. Summer shrugged and got onto her knees next to them, pushing aside blades of grass, looking for anything that didn't belong.

Terra was near tears. It was hopeless. There was no golden and bright green glint among the grass that was the strap of the watch. There was no black face of the watch. Where was it? "It's gone..." She nearly sobbed. "It has to be here..."

Summer looked up and shot Terra a sympathetic look. The watch seemed very important to her. "Maybe...maybe the wind carried it somewhere nearby," Summer stated lamely. She didn't know what to do now.

Terra looked at Summer. "Wind? That watch is really heavy!" She let out a small groan and flopped down to look at the clouds. "That's my sister's watch..."

Shade looked up. Even though Summer's remark was hilarious, he didn't laugh because the look on Terra's face was so distraught. "I'm sure you'll find it. It'll turn up..." Shade understood her feelings. "Your sister, huh?"

Summer sighed and mentally kicked herself. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Argh... She ws glad that Shade was always so encouraging. It had been her sister's watch? Summer would never understand because she had hated her mortal brothers. The jerks.

"Yeah, my older sister." Terra remembered her. She was better than her at everything. Powers to fighting. She had gotten gifts from their mother before, at a very young age. When their father died and they went on the run, she had given Terra the watch.
Time is something you must keep track of. It's how you spend your life. So value your time, and make sure it keeps going.
But her sister's time had stopped, and it was her fault. Terra's lavender eyes saddened. "She's dead now."

Summer immediately asked, "How?" Blame it on her ADHD. She was curious about these things. She then realized what she just said, and slapped a hand over her mouth. "Uh, er, you don't...you don't have to tell me if you don't want...I mean..."

Terra didn't show any signs of being offended or affected by the question. She looked at the strawberries dully and sook her head. "No, it's alright. She went mad from some poison. I killed her."

"Oh" was all Summer could say. Terra had killed her sister... then why was she looking for her sister's watch? Or was it those kind of situations that you don't realize you love someone until you kill them... Summer pushed the thought away. She didn't want to think about it...

"You must think I'm horrible, right? To kill my own sister." Terra felt some tears brimming at the ends of her eyes. "But she went mad...and tried to kill me...When I defended myself...she..."
Terra wouldn't cry. She had promised herself that she wouldn't show her sister that she was sad. This was her way of retaliating against her mother who wouldn't help her. To show her that she was living happily without her help. Ceres never did anything to help them. And her sister was dead.

"What? Oh, no, no." Summer added quickly, feeling slightly guilty. Terra had killed her sister to defend herself, but Summer... She had killed people who couldn't defend themselves. She had killed plenty just because. Just to send a message to the camps. Summer was glad she wasn't on Gaea's side anymore.
