"I did not think of that," Caroline admitted, suddenly feeling very hopeless. Shade was right. Even if some campers were willing to go, how would they get in?
Caroline shifted her sea-green gaze to Rachel hopefully. She was the Athena cabin leader after all. "Do you have an idea?"

I thought about it. "Well, if I knew the layout of the Wolf House, or about how many guards they have, or where the guards are positioned, I could possibly figure something out."

At her words, Shade suddenly felt a prick of guilt stab at his gut. He knew. He didn't want to say so, though. He battled with himself in silence, turning a bit paler than he already was. He finally spoke up. "I know... I know what it looks like. Terry remembered too. We made a map for the Wolf House. It's in the Athena cabin. You know the rolls of maps by his desk...?"

Willow intently listened as everyone planned a little plan. And even better, Shade made a map. Wonderful! "My question is, would we use a distraction, sneak in, or just do a full on attack?" No one would say to attack, but Willow felt like including that to make them remember how dead they would be if one little alarm sounded.

Caroline stared hard at Willow, then glanced around at everyone, then said, "Well, I choose to sneak in. A distraction might get one of us caught. Then they would have new prisoners."

Willow smiled, "Just what I was hoping you would say." She glanced at Shade and Rachel,"What about you?"

Shade had gone to get the map. He came back, fingering it nervously. He really didn't like it in the Athena cabin. Terry's desk was just so....him. Everything on his desk reminded Shade of him. He pushed aside the thought. He couldn't think like Terry was dead.
"Well, sneaking in won't garuntee we won't get caught. I can be the distraction." Shade re entered their conversation. "I'll set the forest nearby on fire, and hide there. While they try to find me, I'll be shadow traveling around. I'll only do that when you guys are close to being caught."

"No!" Caroline objected immediately. "What if they still catch you? Blocking off any ways of escape? Then we'd have to rescue you, too. I still think we should just sneak in," she insisted stubbornly.

Willow scooted over next to Caroline, showing that she obviously sided with her idea of just sneaking in. "We can't have more people to worry about. What if something goes wrong?"

"What can go wrong? I'm hiding!" Shade protested. "Besides, if you guys are all discovered, even more people will get caught! It's better if it's just me. And besides, I'll only do it if they get close to you guys. And I'll be hiding and shadow traveling around, they won't catch me!" Shade crossed his arms stubbornly. His hazel eyes were hardened with confidence. He wasn't going to get caught. He was doing this for Terry. He wouldn't fail. Now if only he was sure Terry wasn't a fake...Shade pushed the thought away. All traces of his shy side were gone for the moment.

Willow narrowed her eyes, staring at Shade, then shrugging, "If that's what you want. I won't get in the way of a half brother, no matter how stupid their intention is." Willow knew Shade would do anything for Terry, and even if they agreed on a sneak in, Shade would probably do what he felt was right. Willow glanced sideways at Caroline, "Wouldn't you do the same thing if someone you cared about was presumed dead, but had a chance to be with you again?"

I looked at all of them. "Wait, we can just list the pro's and con's of each side, then whichever plan has the most pro's, or less worrisome con's, is the plan we use. Like, a pro of a distraction would be that if it was big enough, then maybe enough people would go that we could battle the people who stayed and get in, but a con would be that there's always the possibility that they only send a few people to the distraction and there would be too many to fight off."

Willow nodded her head approvingly, turning away from Caroline and to Rachel, "A pro of sneaking in is if we did it during the day, that's when no one would suspect us. They would be too busy having fun or meeting. A con of it is no matter what time we go, there will be people who are smart enough to not leave their posts at the wolf house." Willow stated, thinking hard. She was really bad at making a plan, and if it even was good, it would have taken all of her mental control to even have harnessed the thought.

I nodded approvingly. "Like Crys- Krissie." I said bitterly. I thought of something and sat up straighter. "Wait! I might have something!" (I actually do have an idea, but I'm not putting it 'till my next post just to annoy you guys! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!)

[Gee, feeling the love.] Willow nodded, then her head shot up at what Rachel said, "What is it?" She stared intently at Rachel.

I frowned. "Well, it sounded good at the time, but now that I think about it, it could go either way."

Shade blinked at Willow's words, not replying. It had kind of Hirt, her comments. He looked over at Rachel, prodding her to say her idea. He still liked his though. He could get the guards to abandon their posts...maybe.

Willow blinked at Rachel, showing that the anticipation was building. It shouldn't have been doing that. If they could find a way around Krissie, they would have one major obstacle out of the way. "Well...?"

I frowned even more. "Nah, it probably wouldn't work. Scratch that one of the list.", I said glumly and tried to think of a different idea. (Sorry I seriously did have an idea but I wasn't completely sure it would work, so I'm not posting it unless we are SUPER stuck on ideas.)

(Wow, you're helpful. *sarcasm*)
"What about I go first, find Krissie, and try to convince her that I want to join? You guys can sneak in around me. I'll keep her distracted." Of course, there were a million different ways it could turn out, but at the moment, Caroline didn't care. "I mean, she'll suspect something, but hopefully she won't figure it out until it's too late." Caroline wondered if she was underestimating Krissie.
