I kept jogging. So far, neither of the guards had seen me. Good. Because if they did, it the most likely outcome was that they'd kill us, Terry and Colton would die, and Gaea would win the battle.

Willow sprinted after Rachel, silently stepping over the leaves...Leaves that should've not been there. Oh well. Willow saw Terry, and there was a box next to him, and also a few walls. "Colton, you still alive?[/i] It was an odd question but she needed to know if she had to save him.

The darkness was nearly maddening. He could feel the air getting thicker and harder to breathe in. Colton knew he probably had a few minutes left. What should he think about in his final moments? Before he could start reflecting on his disappointment of a life, and what he could have done better, he heard a voice. For some reason, it was what he most wanted to hear.
Colton was sure he was hallucinating. He looked around in the darkness. "Willow?" he asked cautiously. He couldn't hear or see anything, so saying that one name into the darkness felt pretty silly. Maybe he had imagined it.

Terry knew they had to hurry. When locked in an airtight space, a person would not die of oxygen deprivation, but carbon dioxide poisoning. (Proven scientific fact I learned in Chemistry! XD) Colton wouldn't be able to feel it, but he would get really dizzy from breathing the gas. Then it would be too late.
Terry was about to throw another string of insults at the Ares kids when there was the sound of running footsteps. "They need you at the training course, Brian, switch with me." The Apollo kid jogged up. Then he spotted Willow and Rachel. His eyes widened in surprise. The camp's! Had they come to attack?
The taller Ares kid turned at his voice only to see the Apollo kid taking out his bow and knocking in an arrow. "What are you doing...?"
The soldier of Gaea sent a string of arrows at Willow and Rachel. "Intruders!" That made the other two Ares kids turn around and draw their swords, seeing the two campers.
Terry's heart kind of sank. Oh man.

Shade was sitting behind the tree. They had to hide to keep out of view. They could barely see Terry and them anyway. He could hear the yelling though. He was getting nervous. His eyes flickered for a moment before he got it under control. Breathe in....out....in...out. A small black flame tipped on finger. He would set the whole forest in flames when the alarm came. He stared at the watch nervously, waiting for an alarm.

I saw a whole pack of arrows flying towards me and Willow. Crap. I dodged arrows. After the first set was gone, I remembered the watch on my wrist. I had been instructed to push the button when they found us. Then Shade and Caroline could cause a distraction, we could get Terry and Colton, and get the frick out of there. Without hesitation, I hit the button that would send the warning back to Shade and Caroline. Now there was nothing I could do but dodge attacks and pray the distraction would come soon.

(FINALLY!! No offense.)
Caroline's eyes flickered to Shade at the sound of the alarm. Some of Gaea's soldiers had spotted Rachel and Willow. Hopefully it wasn't too many. Hopefully Krissie wasn't among them. Then they'd really be dead, Caroline was almost certain of that.
Caroline should have been nervous, but for some reason she felt a stream of adrenaline instead. "Any ideas for the distraction?"

Shade blinked, nearly jumping as the alarm sounded in a high-pitched screech from his watch. He looked over at Carolineand managed a devious grin. "Yep." Before he said anything else, he set his hand to the grass. The black flame cracked as it caught on the fallen dead leaves. A full blaze was soon set and the fire began to crawl outward at Shade's will. Away from the trees and towards the half of the Wolf House. It grew into a full fledged inferno. It blocked all the soldiers of Gaea from seeing what was happening on the other side. Where the three Gaea kids were. They stared at the flames for a moment, distracted. He hoped Willow and Rachel could pick them off while they were staring. The soldiers that had come at the Moises were confused, and began to make their way around through the woods until they saw Caroline and Shade. There were two kids that had heard the yells of the other three Willow and Rachel were fighting. They ran around and headed towards Shade and Caroline.
Shade was exhausted from creating the flame. Beads of sweat formed. He had to keep the fire in place. If it went out of control, it would end up engulfing Terry's cage and the box Colton was stuck in.
"Caroline... Can you keep those two away?"

"Of course." In only seconds, it had all turned to chaos. Caroline hoped that Rachel and Willow weren't too stunned by the sudden flames.
Caroline grinned as she drew her sword. It had been a while since she actually fought something other than a practice dummy. She hadn't wanted to take any chances fighting other campers; it would be bad if someone received major injuries.
Caroline rushed forward to intercept the two before they could get any closer. The first one charged, but she had been expecting it. Caroline stepped to the side, and the first guy's blade missed. With a grunt, Caroline swept one of his legs from under him, and he completely lost balance, falling to the ground on his side, stunned for a second.
Caroline whirled around to face the other guy, and was glad she had already been holding her sword protectively in front of her face. His sword rammed into hers, and Caroline stumbled backwards from the force, almost tripping over the first guy's body.
The second guy was smarter than the first. At her short second of weakness, he jabbed forwards. Caroline managed to knock it off-course, then jumped to the side again, trying to stay clear of any things she could trip over.
She wondered how things were going with Willow and Rachel.

"Watch out..." Shade warned Caroline as the first guy she had knocked down was beginning to recover. He felt pretty useless, holding up the large wall of flames. Willow and Rachel had to hurry up, they didn't have much time. These flames were going to attract some soldiers eventually.

At the sound of Shade's voice, Caroline glanced over and gave him a quick nod to show that she had heard. The second guy charged as the first guy got up. Caroline ducked under his blade as he ran by, and turned to face the first guy that had regained balance and was back on his feet again.

Shade watched the fight with an annoyed expression. The fact that he couldn't do much made him pretty ticked. "Hey, haven't you two ever heard of no double-teaming? Or hitting a girl for the matter?" He sent a spark towards the back of the first guy. There was a pause, then a black foamed bloomed to life in a large crackling explosion right behind the first demigod Caroline was facing. The guys fell forward, distracted and pained.

Caroline jumped back in surprise as the first guy fell forward onto the ground in front of her, then realized that it must have been Shade's doing. "Thanks," Caroline nodded, and turned to the second guy. The second guy was still in shock. Rushing forward, Caroline swung out with her sword, feeling kind of sick as the second guy's blood sprayed the air. She had purposely aimed for his arm instead of a fatal area. Even though they were enemies, Caroline still didn't want to kill them. Besides, it wouldn't help the feud between the camps and Gaea.

(Haha, I feel like rping the two demigod dudes. XD)
The first demigod was recovering, but his back was obviously burned. He sent a glare at Shade, then suddenly vines erupted from the ground, wrapping themselves around Shade's arms and legs. In surprise, Shade tried to take a step back, but fell instead. At this moment, instead of attacking Shade, he rolled away skirting around Caroline towards the second demigod. "Cole!" He turned around with a nasty glare at Caroline. Then swung his sword out at her. The second demigod scooted back and pulled out a pack of nectar. He began to drink some, his cuts slowly closing. Now that Shade looked at the two, they seemed like brothers. He narrowed his eyes and burned off the vines entangling them.

Caroline was surprised as vines sprang out of the ground to wrap around Shade. This was the first time that one of them had used their powers. The first guy was probably a child of Demeter or someone, and the second guy looked like his brother. Caroline guessed that it was safe to assume that the second guy had the same parentage.
"Shade!" Caroline called, but he was already getting up again. Caroline's eyes flickered suspiciously to the second guy who was drinking nectar in the corner, then turned her attention back to the other guy and caught his blade on the tip of hers just in time. Caroline then shoved it to the side roughly, hoping that it would disarm him.

The first boy, Cole, dropped his sword. That didn't stop him from kicking out at Caroline. "So your boyfriend's a son of Hades? What are you then?" The second boy grew a vine up from the ground to try and grab Caroline.
Shade narrowed his eyes at him. "Son of Pluto!" He incinerated the vines behind Caroline before they could do anything.
"Does it make a difference?" The second one stood up and threw some daggers at Shade, who stumbled away, making them miss. One hand was still out to hold up the large wall of flames. Oh gods, Willow and Rachel had to hurry.

i silently thanked Shade and Caroline for the distraction and began to run into the wolf house. I looked at Terry, "Sorry it took so long for us to come." I whispered, then headed straight to Coltons box. I grabbed my knife and assessed the box. It looked like it was strong, but if I could drive the knife in just right, I could pry a hole in it. Of course, if I didn't put it in right, it would kill Colton, but let's stay positive here!

Colton coughed painfully. It felt like there was a heavy weight on his chest that was crushing his lungs. He couldn't see or hear anyhting. So maybe he really had imagined Willow's voice.

I took a deep breath. Okay. Let's do this. I pulled my knife back and stabbed the box. I smiled. Yes! It was completely on target! If I had done the statistics right, it meant that I had stabbed the hole just so the knife didn't hit Colton! (if you want to make it so she DID hit him, you can say that she did.)

(Meh, I feel like torturing my character to relieve stress.)
Colton felt a sharp pain in his right shoulder just as he sat up. He jerked back, shocked. What had-? He grabbed his shoulder, feeling a warm liquid run over his fingers. He was bleeding. What had given him the cut? He couldn't see, everything was spinning around him...
