Grayson let out a small yawn, putting his book away into the large shelf against the wall. He had his own mini library because of his love of books. He stood up, checking the kid that had been moved up here on his couch. They were in the attic, for something private. The kid had woken up, it seemed.
Shade coughed, opening his eyes. He had been half healed by Ace, but he didn't know that. The son of Gaea was hanging out in a shadowy corner unseen because he was afraid. He didn't notice, but he noticed Grayson. "Where...? What happened? Terry? The camps?" Je winced, pain tensing through him.

Terry walked in, swaying from exhaustion. "Caroline...she said that we had to come. What's going on?" He spotted Shade tucked on the couch, looking sick. "Oh man, are you okay?" He walked over, looking his best friend up and down. He must have been even more tired than him from the shadow-traveling. He looked over at Grayson. "Thanks, but what's going on?"

Summer raced in after Terry, breathing hard. "Where...is Willow?" was the first thing she demanded. After her friend had shadow-traveled the remaining campers here, Summer had been whisked away by some Apollo kids to help organize the campers that were hurt to the airspace. She had not seen the daughter of Hades since. She had been searching for her when Caroline sent her the message. "Have any of you guys seen her?" Summer asked as she walked over to Terry.
She glanced at the older son of Minerva, only then remembering him. "Hello, you must be Grayson," she nodded, having caught his name from Terry's iris message.

Grayson nodded a greeting to all of them. At Summer's comment, he perked up a bit. "The Hades kid? She was in the pavilion." He had a photographic memory, so it would come by him to remember everything. "And there's one more girl who needs to come, yes?"
Shade- He nodded, looking behind them. "Caroline, right? What's this even about?"

(*facepalm* Oops. And is that Kyouya from Ouran Highschool Host Club?)
"The pavilion..." Summer glanced over her shoulder, as if about to head there, but remained seated. The first thing she would do after this meeting was to check on her friend. She needed to make sure Willow was okay.
"Sorry I'm late!" The door flew open, and Caroline stumbled in, desperately hoping it was the right door. It would have been pretty embarrassing if it hadn't, and she had walked in on another conversation.
"Hey, you okay?" Relief washed over her that Shade was still alive, that most of them were still alive. She was sure that in no time, the camp would be back to normal. "So..." Caroline glanced at the others for them to continue. "What's happening?"

Ace fingered his blonde hair for a moment, standing back. Nervously, he stepped out, eyeing Grayson next to him that said he would make sure there was no fighting. "Um, I'm what's happening. Calm down and let me explain first, okay?"
Terry nearly choked on the nectar he was drinking for recovery. That would have been a waste. "What? How did you get here? Ace?"

Caroline flinched in surprise as he suddenly stepped forward, but recovered quickly. She hadn't realized he was there already. "I think he followed Shade or something," Caroline offered. "I saw him there next to him." Though at the moment, it had been Cy in control, and she'd almost attacked him. Now that she thought about it, Caroline blushed faintly at the memory.

Shade- He blinked, utterly shocked, of course. He didn't remember anything about Ace following him. And Ace? He was dead. Cy had taken his place, hadn't he?

Ace smiled at them all, though it felt incredibly empty when he should have been happy. Being emotionless was the weirdest experience ever, but he was going to have to live with it. "Hey, wow I've missed you all. Truth is, I've been stuck inside Cy this whole time. I've given him my emotions, and in exchange, he's agreed to cooperate with me."
Ace frowned at the though and tapped his skull lightly. "Actually, this kid isn't even a son of Gaea. He was just a spirit wiped clean of his memory and shoved in here. I couldn't get out, he didn't know who he was, he used my power, and yadda yadda. He's actually not that bad. And now that he remembered who he was in his previous life, he's calmed down a bit."
Inside Cy? The thought made Terry's mind reel. It was physically impossible! It defied logic! Ace had died saving hi
, but here he was....

To Caroline, the thought made no sense whatsoever, causing her head to hurt, but he was obviously there, and she would just have to accept it. "So you were...stuck inside him," she repeated dumbly. Summer blinked, but didn't say anything. "Well, he's there, so he's there. But what will we tell the others about him? That he just magically came back to life? Plus, it'll be kind of difficult rounding them up, what with all the injuries and all." (Gah KILLER HEADACHE,  My posts suck.) |

Ace frowned, "Um, I could just stay up here with Greyson, you know. Hide. My mom doesn't know where I am, and that's pretty lucky for me. If more people knew, I might get found out. And plus...I want to give you guys a chance to know Cy. He isn't an evil bloodthirsty person."
"Thanks." Cy scoffed.
"Oh, be quiet."
"You know, what do you say that I..." Ace hesitated for a moment. "Let you talk to him?"
"Hey, whoa, wait, what?!"
"Didn't you say youy don't like it in there anyway?"
Yeah, but....! You have a point there."

Caroline stepped back at the mention of his name, showing her disagreement. She still didn't trust Cy. How could he do all those evil things, but still not be bad? Well, she trusted Ace. And the same had happened with Ace. And Shade. Reluctantly, she stepped forward again. "Alright, fine. But if he makes one mistake..."

Shade was still kind of gaping at Ace in shock because he seriously thought the kid had died. Mastly everyone had seen him still alive, but not him. The son of Pluto agreed with Caroline, needless to say. He doubted he wanted to talk to that emotionless guy. Now, even if he had emotions, did it make a difference? Caroline's agreeing made him wonder, so he consented, nodding his head.

Terry- He trusted Ace, so of course he just nodded. He wanted to see what exactly was going on. He was sure Cy couldn't try anything with al of them in here.
Ace stood back, his eyes suddenly flickering, melting from spring green to a cold and icy blue. They held the color of shocking electricity, as if they gave off their own light. They weren't as harsh as they used to be. instead, they were a bit guilty, maybe even depressed. the moment he was in control, he looked away from all of them. The silence is what you would call awkward.
After a while, the boy finally spoke. "I remembered...who I was. I'm not the son of Gaea...so I have no reason to be your enemy anymore."
"Yeah, that's good. See, it wasn't that hard, was it?"
"Oh, shut up....But yeah, somehow, I just feel kind of pointless."
"Pointless? How so?"
"I'm not supposed to be alive. I'm just a replacement. I'm already dead."
"Ah, don't think that way. Think of this as...a second chance. Dude, you can try to find the people you knew when you were alive!"
"....I don't want to."
"It'll be all happy and-wait, what?! Why not?"
"...."

Summer sucked in a breath in shock. Impossible! It was a whole different thing to see the transformation take place. There really are two different people inside of one body! It sounded weird when you thought about it.

Shade stared distrustfully at Cy, trying not to tense at his prescence. He blinked at his words. That just made him curious.
"So...do you mind telling us who you were?"
Greyson's weapon, liquid mercury, more commonly known as quicksilver, swirled out of the air from the vile he always carried around in his pocket. It formed rings around Cy in case he tried anything.

Cy stared at the quicksilver swirling around him in dangerous rings. He resisted the urge to draw up the earth and push it away. Not only would that make him untrustable, it would give away their location. He ignored Shade for the moment, not wanting to answer. "So...did Colton make it out here?" He asked suddenly.
Terry blinked at his reply, which happened to be quite the random question. Cy seemed to be after his blood. But now...Terry didn't even want to talk about it. So many dead....He lowered his gaze, not looking at Cy.

"Colton?" Caroline exclaimed, suddenly wondering the same. She hadn't seen him at the Airspace yet. Perhaps it was because he had never made it here... Did they leave him at the camps? Or was it because he was... "H-he's dead?" She spoke out loud the silent conclusion everyone had come to. Judging by Terry's unwillingness to answer Cy, she assumed it was probably true.

"Dead?" Cy asked, and just for a moment, his voice broke off. Oh.
"He's..."
Terry sat down, "Yes, okay? He's dead. Terra killed him. But that doesn't change the fact that you almost killed him so many other times before. So why do you even care?"
Cy flinched at his words. "No, because...I knew him when I was alive."

For some reason, Caroline didn't start sobbing like she usually would at this news. Instead, she just felt hollow inside, like she was used to it. There had already been so many they had lost since the beginning, she couldn't count them all. Bye, Colton.
Her head swung around to stare at Cy at his last sentence. "Uh, what?"
Summer didn't like learning all of this new information all at once. It made her head hurt just thinking about everything. Too many things defied the limits she had held to be impossible.
