(lol, this is a talk between men.)
Terry held out his hand absentmindedly. A long rod of light formed itself out of the sunlight in the air. It glowed. When Terry grabbed hold of it, the light exploded away, revealing a golden staff underneath. The ends were metal spheres. The long staff handle had a pattern of an olive branch etched into it. "I can summon it and make it disappear at will. But that's it. It's a nice weapon. My mother gave it to me."

He spun it once in his hand, and it shone bright golden before it folded on itself. The light turned two dimensional. Then it shrunk back into one spec of light and it dispersed into the air. "Appear. Disappear. That's what it does." Nothing more, nothing less. But he treasured it greatly. It was the only weapon that was greatly balanced for him. It was a gift from his mom. The only weapon he would be willing to use.

He blinked. "I...Uh...Actually never thought about that. I really don't know." He was just glad it was here for him. Terry was just grateful for his mother's gift.

"Stuck? I'm not sure what you mean. I can make it appear and disappear at will. It always comes or goes no matter what."
When he fought, if he lost hold of his weapon, he could make it disappear and appear again in his hands. Though it would take some time.

He nodded. "Yeah, it's nice. My mother gave one to each of us siblings. My other two brothers..." Terry hesitated for a second. Then held his staff up in the air. "Mine is called 'Paralyze'."

His expression wasn't fazed by the question. But he felt his heart sink. he had promised he wouldn't be sad over them. He would show them he was happy, and he would value their sacrifices. And when he thought of them, he would smile. But for some reason, he couldn't. Maybe it was too early. "Uh....I...They're dead."

Terry smiled a sad smile. His history he cursed. It was because of misfortune and bad luck that it happened. "We killed each other because we loved each other. It's a complicated mess. It's a long story."

Terry took a breath. All the stress inside him from remembering his past could be let out. "I have two brothers. My older one is Dodge. My younger one is Kevin. And then there's Shade. A kid I didn't know until now. He's the son of Pluto."
It was a tangled mess of things.
"Shade lived in the
Underworld with his father. Because Persephone wasn't happy with it, and Pluto wanted him to have a normal life as a demigod, he decided to send him here to our world. But he didn't want to send him to camp. So he asked my older brother to take care of Shade in an isolated forest area to the back of our house in a cabin. He asked Dodge of this favor, and he told him he would reward him later."
Terry sighed. What was this bad luck? Out of all the kids he chose....
"We seemed to be the only demigods living on our own. Dodge took care of us as a guardian. And we survived. We trained in the woods together from time to time to be prepared to fight off monsters. Our mother gave us each a staffed weapon to do that. Dodge had his job to take care of us. So he refused Pluto's request."
