When I reached the Wolf House, I turned around and waited for Shade. He didn't seem like he would betray Gaia. If he did, I would personally kill him. Then he'd see his dad, and all of his questions about his past would be answered. I smirked at the thought.

Shade followed Summer into the training area. He looked warily at her. He had just got here and was tired. He wanted to warm up though. The attack was in a few days. Gaea told him that no one would notice he had betrayed them since he had joined so late. She told him he could kill many with the element of surprise on his side. Shade wanted to test out his powers, his limit. Gaea had granted him full control of his abilities. He could feel the change inside him. Now that he could control them, he felt like he was closer to his father. And Gaea was the one that had helped him do that.

"Okay, so-" I suddenly lashed out at him.

Krissie appeared at the edge of the training grounds. Her form was made of water at first, but then the liquid wavered and disappeared, leaving Krissie watching Summer and Shade with her cold sea-green eyes.

Shade saw it coming. He had already learned to watch out for Summer's surprise attacks back at the Wolf House. He leaned back as the knife missed, slicing of the bottom of one of his long bangs, which he ignored. He almost thanked her for restyling his hair sarcastically. But he kept quiet. It was only one strand of hair. Better than a wound. He flipped backward on his hands, kicking up at her knife. The same move he used at the Wolf House.

I smirked and pulled my arm back slightly, avoiding the kick. Then I slashed at his legs.

Krissie tilted her head slightly. Not bad, she commented in her mind. So far, this Shade guy seemed to be a good fighter. Though she'd seen Summer at work. He'd need to be careful and not underestimate the daughter of Zeus. Though Krissie knew Summer was a good fighter...there should always be someone better then the best.
Not that Krissie thought Summer was the best. Unless there was some big tournament to find out the best fighter out of all of Gaea's army...that would probably last a long time, and Krissie had no patience for that sort of useless trash anyway.
Krissie watched Shade and Summer fight, trying to predict the other's move. The slash at Shade's legs was an easy one to dodge, and Krissie expected the son of Pluto to do so.

He flipped easily from his hands back onto his legs. He watched her calmly. He charged forward suddenly and dropped his left from his hand. He brought both together on his right blade and slashed at her head. As his left sword fell, it landed on his shoe and he kicked it out at her stomach like a flying dagger. A combo Terry himself had suggested and taught to him.

I dodged to the right, and felt his blade whizz by my left. There was a sharp pain in my side, but I ignored it. This guy was good.

Shade said nothing. He was surprised that it had worked. The feeling of Terry caused his hazel eyes to close for a second. He slashed at her to keep her distracted while he retrieved his short sword that had imbedded itself in a tree.

I blocked it, then realized where he was going. I sliced at his chest, hoping that would slow him down. As we fought, I moved so that I was between his knife and him.

Shade knew she didn't want him to get his short sword back, so he wasn't going to take his chances. He ducked her swing to his chest, dropping to the ground and rolling away from her. And idea formed in his mind. He regained himself in his feet farther from Summer, waiting for her to attack.

I narrowed my eyes. That look...he had an idea. I think I could guess it. He wanted to get me further away from the tree, then quickly run around me. At least that's what I think he was thinking. Well, I just stood there, waiting for him to attack.

Shade didn't speak. He knew Summer had guessed he wanted her away from his sword, but it didn't matter, he could do it now with Gaea's gift to let him control his powers. He materialized from the shadows behind Summer. He had shadow traveled, not fazed by the effort. He was between her and his sword. He slashed out with his right at her back while grabbing for his left short sword.

Of course! He had shadow traveled to his knife. I spun around just in time to barely block his attack. At least I had directed it away from major organs. A thin cut appeared on my cheek.
I faked a slash to his side. At the last moment, I jabbed at his stomach.

He blocked her sword with his right, but realized to late it was a feint. He grabbed his left short sword quickly and spun it into his grip. Shade only managed to catch her blade a little to slow it down. A gash opened by his side, where he had depressed her sword to. He tried not to double over from the pain. He got up and took his stance, looking at Summer with calm eyes.

(I gtg get some sleep. I need to wake up in 6 hours. See you later.)
I stared at him coldly. My eyes invited him to make a move.

(Bye!)
Shade's hazel eyes returned her gaze. He had a kind look, but it was slightly wary. All he wanted to do was prove himself, but he was kind of failing right now. He ignored the pain, rushing forward into a move taught by Dodge. He threw his short sword at her, then changed his right sword into his left quickly while the dagger like sword flew out at her. He fringed a slash with his right, which was empty, of course. He Yankee back his arm and slashed with his left at Summer's side.

(k back. Sorry I can't get on a lot cuz of camp now...but next week I won't have camp! Then next next week I will again.)
I dodged to the side when the short sword came flying at me. I locked my eyes on him again afterwards. When he slashed at me with his right, I dodged to his left. A second later did I realize that his hand was empty. Ah, well. His blow got me on my right shoulder. Because it was his left, so my right. Right? Whatever.
I had gotten worse from other training sessions from Gaia so this wasn't anything serious, but it still hurt.
I stared at him with my cold blue eyes, then a big smile appeared on my face. "Good job, Shade."

Shade stopped, taking a few cautious steps back. His hazel eyes were surprised at her paise. He studied her silently, trusting this girl was easy. It felt like he wanted her approval. Was it because she was one of the higher ups for Gaea?
