"That is none of your bussiness!" He snapped back at Shade. Ah, he really didn't understand these people. Even Krissie didn't know what he looked like. He just spoke, fought, and looked like him.

Okay, that set him off. The first's memories clashed with his feelings, making him take a small reeling step back. He closed his eyes at the headache. Once it had faded, he glared at Shade hatefully. He wasn't him! He would never be!
"They're annoying me, can we kill them?" He asked Krissie. Without waiting for an answer, the ground swelled up in front of them and large spikes of hard rock shot up one by one to stick out of the ground.

Summer instinctively stepped back as the spikes shot out of the ground. She examined the Ace soundalike with confusion. So he had the same powers, and almost the same voice as Ace, but he wasn't him? And by the looks of it, this boy seemed more impatient.

Shade jumped back to avoid being impaled b a spike that shot out of the ground. It had aimed for his eye. He was really trying to kill him.
Shade narrowed his eyes. He wanted to fight back in retaliation, but everything about this kid reminded him of Ace. His voice, his hair, his actions, his powers, his fighting styles. Sometimes he really did act like Ace would, sometimes not. His voice was more...hateful. As if nothing ever went his way. It was bitter yet calm. But he also had an air of impatience as if something had just set him off. Ace didn't get angry that easily. Yet, everything told him that this was Ace. Everything about him...
He held out his sword, the short one fizzing back into his left. He kept up his defense in case they decided to attack.

Caroline sprang back as the spikes erupted out of the ground. A spike narrowly missed her leg. She glanced over to make sure that Shade and Summer were alright, then glared back at the guy that had so much in common with Ace. Well, besides their personalities. Maybe...
Her grip tightened on the handle of her blade as she watched to see what he would do next. And what would Krissie do next?

He glared at them from behind his mask. That's when it decided to split. He uttered a small exclamation. "Ah, shit!" Then the earth burst up around him before anyone could see his face. It wrapped around his whole body. Then a collection of needles whizzed from the wall of earth straight at them.
He let out a small sigh of relief inside the dome of earth and sank down to sit. That was close. So should they run or fight? It was Krissie's descision. He was already forming a new mask from the ground, turning it light and hard with his powers. But of course no one could see that.

There was a flash of spiky blonde hair, but before he could see anything else, his view was blocked by a large wall of earth. He took a step back as a sunburst of sharp needles shot out. He deflected some of them off his sword. Then blinked as a rocklike shard sliced through the bottom of his arm. A tiny cut. Shade narrowed his eyes. They were sharp. So they did want to fight.

Summer narrowed her eyes as the mask started to split. Maybe they would finally see...then a wall of earth erupted in front of them. She blinked in shock as needles started shooting at them. She knocked a few away with her knife, but sunk into her shoulder. She winced as she pulled it out and threw the needle on the ground, one end bloody.

Krissie hesitated. Run or fight them? For some reason, she didn't want to...but saying that aloud would make her sound weak. So instead she glowered at the campers and spat, "We should leave. We can kill them next time around," Krissie added, threateningly. When the final battle came...the ground would be awash with blood...the campers' blood.

A needle shot out at Caroline a bit faster than the others that she didn't have time to react. It shot past her cheek, grazing her skin as it shot past, sending blood spraying into the air. She ignored it, and deflected others, but her cheek stung.

"...." There was no sound from the dome of earth. It suddenly sank away as he fixed the new mask to his face. "Alright."
He stared at the three kids gazing at him. "Sorry." What? Why had he apologized? He felt like kicking himself in frustration, but not in front of them. He was surrounded by a wall of earth, and when it sank back down, he was gone.

Shade watched him dissapear. He let out a sigh of frustration. Then he looked at Caroline and Summer.

Krissie vanished close second. Her form turned to ice then shattered. Krissie made sure they all shot at the three demigods.

Shade blinked and reflexively turned around. A wall of fire shot up to shield all of them and the ice melted at the touch of the black flames. Then the fire died down and he let out a small sigh.

Summer nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay-" She tensed as she saw the ice shards flying towards them, but Shade beat her to it. "Thanks." Summer stared at the spot that Krissie had disappeared from. She couldn't believe her old friend...well, she couldn't believe a lot of things. But in the past, Krissie-Crystal then- had never showed any sign of... Summer's eyes darkened as she remembered. It was all a mask for Krissie. She had never really been the happy, annoying girl she seemed like back then. She had always been hiding. Summer stared into space, lost in memories.

Caroline nodded at his question, shooting an irritated look where the guy had disappeared, though knowing he probably wouldn't even see it. "Yeah, I'm fine. So, what-" She abruptly cut off her words as Shade spun around. She followed his example, and her eyes narrowed as she saw the ice pieces shooting at them. The works of her half sister. Then a fire sprang up between them and the ice, and the ice melted as the flames consumed them. "So, what now?"

Shade let out a sigh and slumped down against a tree to sit.
"I don't know, honestly, I'm surprised he's still alive...somehow. But we saw him die, didn't we? Yet everything about him reminds me of Ace."
They knew what he was talking about.
"Summer? You okay?"
He noticed she was a bit distracted. His eyes were sympathizing. Must be because Krissie was her firne at Gaea's.
