"I'm fine, but I wasn't even in the battle, which, by the way, makes me feel guilty." , I said as I walked over to tree so I could put the sword back in. I knew that there were other weapons in the forest, so I felt better. I looked over at Jacob. "Oh, gods, I think your head is getting worse."

(lol, I forgot where Summer was in this...)
"Yeah, but are you okay?" Summer asked as she walked over to the over demigods. She glanced around, hoping to hear a rustle or something that might signal that Ari was still here.

"Ah, I'm always careful. So I'm a walking resource." Terry plucked a roll of bandages from his pocket. "Jacob, you're gonna need this. That looks pretty bad."

(Hehe, I thought you guys forgot about me xD Anyways, sorry about my lack of presence, I have the flu, and I couldn't really think right, so I forgot how to rp for a while...LOL) Ari rolled her eyes. What was she supposed to do now? She didn't expect them to run after her. I mean like, normal people would just ignore it, go back to sleep, and run away from a deadly animal. Not actually fight it, and then continue to run after her. Seriously. She wasn't this special. But, she figured some personal goodbyes wouldn't hurt. She hopped off a branch, which she assumed was a sleeping tree nymph, and headed toward them. "You guys couldn't just stay in bed like good little demigods, could you?" She chuckled a bit.

Summer blinked. "Ari!" She rushed forward to stand in front of her. Summer stared at her with hurt and bewildered eyes. "What...what were you trying to do?"

As Jacob was getting his bandages on, he tried to think straight. Why was he here? He was looking for something... No. Someone. Adrianne? No Ari! As he remembered her, he jerked straight up, pain pusling through his body. He swore under his breath. "Where is..." he started. Then he noticed her standing in front of them. "Ari!" He clutched his head. "We thought you were in trouble..."

"Did you now?" She nodded, "And you came to rescue me? Guys, I love you all, but you make it extremely hard to do anything. I can't even leave without...this happening." She sighed.

Jacob groaned. He started to stand up, but he wobbled and grabbed ont5o the tree for support. He directed his attention back to Ari. "Well..." He blinke a bit and was finally able to stand. "Why the Underworld would you want to leave?" (I forget this is AT. )

"Cause I want to be normal. I'm tired of being so out of touch with the world. Plus, I called an old friend, and he got me into his high school for free jumping. I'm gonna live with him and his family, and i'm going to graduate from highschool, and i'm going to go to college. Then i'm going to get married, and possibly have 3-4 children." She smiled, "I'm just tired of having my life at risk every second." Ari looked down at her shoes.

"Leaving Camp won't help," said Jacob. "You're the daughter of a god, and that won't ever change. You'll always be in danger. But here you're safe. We can protect you." He snickered at himself. "We're not so good at protecting ourselves, though." He tapped his head.

"I can protect myself!" She snapped, "I'm not special! I'm not a child of the big 3 or anything! I lived for 3 years, knowing I was a demigod, and not once did I see a monster. Not once! I'm tired of it here, and I'm tired of living like this!"

Jacob groaned. What to do? "If that's what you want," he said. "If you really hate it here so much, then leave. But remember. We'll be miserable." He slid down the tree trunk.

"Well I don't you guys to be miserable! It's just one person. You guys have more friends! I just want to be normal. You know, be able to go on dates, get chewed out for terrible grades on my report card, fake being sick so I can stay home and watch tv. Don't you guys miss any of this?"

Summer was silent as she murmured, "I do, but I would never leave the camps." Not only because she had no where else to go. But if Ari was going back to the mortal world again, trying to be normal, Summer wasn't going to try to stop her. It was Ari's decision.

Terry was silent at all this. He slumped against a tree and slid down to sit in exhaustion. He just listened to what Ari had to say. School, a normal life...He didn't remember all of that. It had happened long ago... But he could still remember his brothers laughing together with him. At school, so many friends of his. Straight As...
"I do. But I'm not going to ignore the fact that this camp is in danger. I'm staying here to make sure we pull through." And that was the simple truth. They were demigods. They would get attacked no matter what. But it wasn't in his position to tell her what to do.

Summer nodded in agreement. "Terry's right," she sighed, looking at Ari. "But if you want to leave, and not want a part of all of this, then go. I mean, I don't blame you for wanting to leave and pretend that demigods don't exist, but... You're always welcome back..." Summer added.

As I stared at Ari, a random quote came into my brain. I don't know why, but I said it out loud. "To the world, you might just be one person, but to one person, you could be the whole world." I looked at her. "I understand that you might want to leave, but if I found out something had happened to you... I'd just keep coming back to this moment, wondering what would have happened if we had convinced you to stay. I honestly don't think I'd ever forgive myself." I realized that I barely remembered my past... my friends from a few months ago... were they okay? I made a mental note to try and visit their apartment next time I had the chance. (got the quote from a poster in my teachers health room)

(lol)
Terry leaned against the trunk of the tree and stared at Ari with his smoky gray eyes. He wondered if they were putting too much pressure on her. He certainly didn't want her to leave. She was one of his friends. But it wasn't his choice.

(Ugh, I don't like her. She's mean. And...loud.)
Summer sighed and looked away, not wanting Ari to freak out under pressure. And maybe commit suicide. She remembered that time, after Dakota had died, with Ari and the white pills.
