(Okay, so, since I haven't been on a lot cause of school...drama...crap like that, and I don't know whats going on, I decided to make this thread. What happens if Ari runs away from camp? I'll make this REAL if you guys like it. Maybe...)
Ari sat cross-legged in the middle of the clearing. She held her messenger back tight, going over her plan one more time. She couldn't stay here. Even if it was the place that she called home. Taking her knife, and raising it just about to her neck, she cut...her hair. Her long black hair gently fell to the ground. Now it was barely past her shoulders. But it looked perfectly fine, from what she could see in the reflection of the knife. She sighed, hopping up, silently looking around for any harpies.
"Guess this is goodbye."

(NO!! And I'm just gonna assume it's night time...lol) Summer was sitting silently on the roof of her cabin, watching the camp. Her knife was tucked in her boot. Why wasn't she IN her cabin sleeping? She was on guard, of course. She stayed awake on some nights to look out for any spies sent from Gaea. Or an invasion, so she could alert the other campers sooner. Ari's words made Summer's eyes flicker in her direction. What was Ari doing? Curious, Summer watched her, but didn't move.

(It is lol) Ari thought about it once more, then shook her head. She had to do it. Slipping the small ring out of her pocket, the one that Jacob gave her, and dropped it on the ground. She had to do this part quick. Ari screamed to the top of her lungs, and then ran in the direction of the forest, breathing heavy. Her scream would wake people up, and they would think she was taken by a monster or something if they found her ring. Perfect plan. But she needed to show signs of struggle. She nodded, dragging her finger nails across the dirt. I think that's good, She thought, sitting behind a tree, catching her breath.

The scream made Terry sit up fast in the bunk bed. His tall figure caused him to slam his forehead into the bed on top of him.
"OOOWWW! What in the-" He rubbed his forehead, looking around at double images and a blurry world. He fumbled for the nightstand and managed to grab his glasses. He slipped them on and slipped out of bed. He raced out of the cabin.
"What's wrong?" He burst out of the cabin door and ran out into the clearing. The silvery light from the moon clearly illuminated the clearing. What the-? No one was here....

Summer's eyes flashed, and narrowed as she jumped off of the roof of her cabin, neatly landing on her feet, then took off running in the direction Ari had ran. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Terry, but didn't stop to explain what she was doing.
She didn't even know what Ari was doing. But she had a feeling that she shouldn't be doing it... She bent down slightly and snatched up the ring on her way.

Terry spotted Summer racing away across the clearing. "Hey!" He called out. He took off after her, wondering what the heck was going on. Summer didn't scream like that. Well, he hadn't heard her scream before, but...
He noticed the ground had some finger drag marks. What in the? He bent down, studying them. They looked kind of...self made. He looked up to find Summer dissapearing into the woods. She had picked up something. He needed an explanation. Terry dashed after her.

Summer heard footsteps thudding after her, and she knew that Terry had followed her. Who else could it have been? She stopped as she passed a few more trees, then spun around to face him. "Ari...she's in here somewhere..." Summer was slightly out of breath, but she whirled around again and continued to search for Ari, with a dreaded feeling rested in her stomach. "She must be around here somewhere..."

I woke up in my cabin, from a nightmare that I was being buried alive.(my darkest fear when I was 7, lol) I rolled over, than I sat up suddenly, hearing voices yelling. I walked out of the cabin, realizing that I must have fallen asleep in my clothes. I saw Terry dissapear into the forest. I ran off the cabin steps and across the clearing. My foot hit a rock, and I realized that I had forgotten to put shoes on.I ran into the forest, where I skidded to a stop in front of Summer and Terry. "What happened?" I asked, slightly out of breath.

Ari held her breath, noticing that Summer, Rachel, and Terry were just a few feet in front of her. But they didn't see her of course. She slowly backed farther into the forest, accidently stepping on a twig on the way. She cursed silently, not daring to move.

Summer spun around once again, this time, eyes flashing with slight annoyance. Couldn't they see that she was trying to find her friend? "Ari's in here somewhere."
Snap. Summer turned eagerly at the sound. Was that Ari? It must be! Unless, of course, it was a monster, but...

Terry blinked at Summer. Ari? Why did she scream then? What was she trying... Terry's staff shimmered to life in his hand at the sudden snap of a twig. Summer had definately heard that. He did too. He began to walk over carefully to the spot where he had heard it. It was either Ari or a monster. Time to check.

Summer quietly followed behind Terry closely, careful not to step on any twigs or dead leaves that might give them away. If the sound had been made by Ari, then what had she been thinking? Why did she scream, and why did she leave her ring on the ground? Summer examined the ring in her hand that she had picked off the ground.

Okay, time to run, Ari thought. They'd be to confused to catch her. With her heart beating fast, she turned around and ran as fast as she could.

I started to follow Terry and Summer. I heard footsteps running away from us. So, I was almost positive it was Ari, Seeing that most monsters genarally don't run away from a few unarmed demigods. "What the f*ck is she doing?" I whispered. I wanted to run after the footsteps, but I wasn't sure if it was the best thing to do, seeing that there was still a very small chance that it was a monster...

"I'm going after her!" Summer sprinted after the sound of the footsteps. She didn't care if it was a monster; she had her knife with her. She only feared that she wouldn't find Ari.

"Wait up!" I called after Summer. I began to sprint after her. I didn't have a weapon with me, but Summer probably had something, and I wasn't too bad at hand-to-hand combat, so I was pretty sure I could manage.

"Tch, what the heck is going on..?" Terry muttered to himself. He raced after the two, not far behind.

"Whats going on is that everyone here is losing more marbles than necessary, that's what's going on!" I whisper-yelled to Terry.

Summer rolled her eyes at Rachel's words, and whispered without looking back, "Be quiet!"
Just then, there was a crash, then a roar from the side of the demigods. Summer's head turned to the side abruptly, slowing her pace a little. "What was-" A hellhound leapt out from behind a cluster of trees.

I froze at th hellhound. I mentally cursed myself for forgetting my knife. Then, I remembered something that I had done with Ivy and Jacob months ago. I looked around until I found a hollowed-out tree. I reached in and pulled out one of the swords Ivy had put in. Not my best weapon, but I could work with it. I remembered how stupid the idea of putting weapons in hollowed-out trees had seemed months ago, but Jacob and Ivy had insisted. I was happy they had. Otherwise, I would be defensless right now.... (I know we never mentioned this but I don't really care, I just felt like doing that so I would have weapon...)
