Shade held her for a long time. The music faded into the background. When he opened his eyes, he remembered where they were. He pulled back first, turning red.

Shade noticed her laugh, and turned to look down in her blue green eyes. He was still a ripe red. But he smiled sheepishly in return.

Shade blinks at her comment.
"The Gaea stuff..? It's pretty bad."
He looked down. He really didn't know what to think about it. He had been hearing voices at night. They pestered him all the time. He could feel the chaos rising up inside him just by thinking. He pushed it down. He wasn't going to worry her about it.
