Shade shook his head. "Not defensive....just....passive. He tries to avoid it and change the subject. He's pretty smooth with it too. He always gets away." He shrugged sheepishly. It was true. Last time Shade had tried to be persistent. Terry ended up changing the subject smoothly.
Terry looked at the son of Hades, taking another sip of his punch. "Terry Coleman, son of Minerva, nice to meet you." he held out his hand to shake to Jeremy.

"Hades, huh? So you're a Greek." Terry mused and looked the kid up and down once. "Well, I'm from the Roman camp." His smile was bright as usual.
Shade stared at his friend talking to another demigod. He could feel a small connection. A son of Hades, must be. He turned back to Emmy and Caroline.

Jeremy smiled back. "Isn't this the Greek camp? So not everynody here has to be roman," Jeremy drank from his cup. He just figured out that he had been holding his cip for so long and he hadn't drank from it once.

"Then there's something wrong." Shade said simply. He never thought that hiding who you liked was such a big deal. Since he had just started talking to people, he wouldn't know. So what Emmy said made him worry a bit about Terry. "Maybe it's personal to him...?"

Willow skipped over to the food table and picked up a piece of cheese, "I hate cheese." She mumbled before tossing it behind her, making sure that one flirty boy would catch it.
Justin frowned at the cheese, shrugged, and caught it. He walked to Willow and punched her in the arm, "There's the Willow from school." And he walked away, playing with his fire.
Jacob looked at Willow, "Weren't you two, like, best friends?"
Willow smiled, "Still friends. He's just too busy flirting with everyone in sight to be much fun anymore." Willow said with an evil smile.
