Terry wasn't trying to be mean, but it was a touchy subject for him. Yes, he liked someone, but....Terry was completely calm as he gazed at Caroline. "Well? Is this some prank or joke?"
Shade sighed, hearing Terry's tone but not his words. Seeing his expression was enough. Shade sneaked quietly away from the tension up to Emmy. "Hey." He told his half sister.

(Man you guys post wAAAAAYYYYY to fast, I was all the way at page 5! And now your at 15!) Jeremy took a deep breathe. This party was so far going great. Jeremy took a sip out of his cup. He stood in the corner, looking around. He saw Terry, Shade, and Caroline together, having this intense conversation. Jeremy didn't want to know what it was about, he wasn't that nosy.

Shade replied. He had already kind of broken Terry's privacy by sending Caroline there by accident. He didn't want him to pound him into flat bread later by getting Emmy curious too.

Terry looked at her strangely for a while, then turned around. "Shouldn't you be with Shade?" He asked with the usual humor in his voice as he walked off, sipping his punch.

I stared at Terry, who was walking away. I was stunned that he had gotten out of it so fast. Defeated, I walked back to where Shade and Emmy were. I sighed, smiling at Shade. "You were right. He completely avoided the subject."

Terry walked to the refreshments table. He refilled his empty cup while tapping a foot to the music. He looked around for someone to talk he. He let out a small sigh of relief. Man that was an awkwards subject. Too close.

Jeremy had just finished talking to a camper. He saw Terry, not talking to Shade or Caroline anymore. Jeremy had nothing else to do so he walked over and tapped Terry on the shoulder. "Hey" Jeremy murmered awkwardly.
