I smiled. "Ari used to like that Jacob," I gestured to Jacob Drems. "Then this Jacob," I pointed to Jacob Loure. "Lots of Jacobs. Yeah, the Greeks gossip a lot."

"Well, Terry told me he had someone he liked. But he would never tell me who. The only thing was it wasn't Ari. He wouldn't lie to me about that."
Shade shrugged, frowning. He wondered why his friend was so secret about it sometimes.

Shade told her. It was a puzzling thing, the way he acted about it.

Shade watched her go, crossing his arms and shaking his head. A smile of amusement on his face.
Terry turned around at the touch, seeing Caroline. "Oh, hi. Sure." He walked over with her. Shoudnt she be with Shade?

I smiled and led him to a corner, away from the rest of the party. I looked behind me and smirked at Shade. I turned back to Terry again. "So," I started, "saw you talking to Ari."

"Yeah..." Terry raised his eyebrows, seeing her sneak a smile towards Shade. He smiled nervously. "What about it?" What, were they planning something?
Shade shrugged sheepishly. It was a message to Caroline 'you'll see'.

Terry blinked. Huh? He looked at Shade, throwing him a nasty glare. It made his friend put up his hands in surrender. Terry glanced at Summer. "No, I don't." He replied to her bluntly.
Shade saw his glare, putting up his hands to ward of blame. He was in for it later. Terry was probably gonna kill h.

Shade smiled. 'Told ya' look on his face. Who bothered to look at someone's socks? Terry was obviously nervous.
Terry stammered, trying to regain his cool. what was he supposed to say? He looked around. "Caroline, is this supposed to be some kind of joke?"
