She'll kill you, that's what she'll do, Krissie thought. And Gaea would, or send out someone to do it for her.

"Yeah..." Ace replied.
Then he looked up as a group of demigods walked over. The tall one in the lead grunted at the sight of Summer. "What are you doing here?"

I turned and stood up to face them. I crossed my arms. "Gaea told me to inject him with this-" I took out the empty needle. "-every hour. What are you doing here?"

"Every hour? You're just going to sit here and wait an hour?" The kid blinked. He looked at Ace. "Lady Gaea told us to "convince" him to rejoin." The kid said, looking at Ace.
As if agreeing, the cage melted away. Ace narrowed his eyes at them. "Not happening."

Ace stood up, looking at Summer. His feet were uneven. He still kind of hurt from the poison...That's when the group spread out and a kid from the back stepped forward and pushed him onto the ground. "Where do you think you're going?"

I had to make a decision. Fast. I would just have to deal with my punishment later, on whatever I do.
Without thinking, I lashed out at the kid pushing Ace down with my knife.

Ace felt Summer's mood shift. He knew what was going to happen next. The kid turned and moved back. A cut opened in his arm. "What are you doing, Summer?!"
Ace ran forward and pushed Summer away as the kid took out his sword and slashed at her. Ace winced as the blade dug into his shoulder. Ace kicked the kid away. He looked at Summer. She had to stay out of this...

"Have you gone mad?" One of the kids yelled at Summer. All of them sprang into action. Two drew their swords at Summer.
Run? He had nowhere to run to. There were too many of them. As if she had been listening, a rope of earth wrapped around his leg. One of the kids punched Ace in the stomach and the ground disappeared from his leg. Ace dropped like a stone. He gasped as another kid kicked him.

I gritted my teeth. "Yes, I'm going crazy! Now get away!" Adrenaline rushed through me like crazy. I held out my knife defensively.

"Wait, stop it!" Ace yelled. The kids ignored him and both of them slashed at Summer.
One of the kids kicked Ace in the side, cutting him off before he could say anything else. "Son of Gaea. You better agree to rejoin now." Ace spat defiantly, "in your dreams!" The kid narrowed his eyes and drew his sword.
