I just stood there and smiled. Yep, I think I was going crazy. A second not too late, a shield of fizzling electricity appeared in front of me.

Electricity crackled through the air. Ace looked up as both of the kids struck out with their swords. One jerked back in time. The other one fell to the ground shocked unconscious.
Ace narrowed his eyes. This wasn't good. "Run, Summer! Get out of here!" The boy's sword sank into the ground right next to his face, silencing him. A small cut opened on his cheek.

When the sound of fighting was heard, Krissie darted back to the scene. She came upon Summer inside an electric shield, Ace was...free?

I shook my head, smiling. I was slightly hysterical. There was a crazed look in my eyes. I don't know what had come over me. "You go!"
I waved a hand and the lightning faded abruptly in the air. I swung out at the kid who hadn't fallen.

Krissie stood rigid for a moment, pondering whether to jump in...or slowly back away and act like she hadn't seen this scene at all. The second choice was more favourable, and probably smarter, but Krissie being Krissie leapt into action. She grabbed the kid who hadn't fallen and pulled him back in time to avoid being hit by Summer. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" she screamed.

The boy blinked at Krissie in thanks. He glared at Summer. She had gone mad.
Ace stood up, only to be slashed at by the kid in front of him. Ace stepped back. Another kid kicked his legs from behind and Ace rolled onto the ground again.

"What's all this noise?" Gaea huffed as she formed her self from the ground. She was surprised. "Summer? Have you decided to betray me?" A rope of earth shot out of the ground at the girl. The soldiers stepped away from Summer and Ace.

Gaea's voice brought me back to reality. I blinked, then looked at her. "Yes, I believe I have," I said with a small smirk. What was I doing? I tried to bat the tendril of dirt away.

Ace stood up at Gaea's voice. He took a step forward when a rope of earth shot from the ground and wrapped around his neck. He was lifted into the air. He kicked out, but there was nothing he could do. He gasped for air.

Gaea turned her head to Ace. "You're not going anywhere, my dear son." She turned back to Summer. "For what? The camps will definitely lose. And you talk to this piece of trash here and you want to change sides?"

Krissie wasn't sure what to do. After all, who was probably her only friend here at Gaea's Camp had gone bonkers...Krissie was pretty sure she was going to go crazy soon, but seriously? Summer? Why now out of all times? She was even more unsure about what to say to Gaea.

Ace grabbed the ropes of dirt, pulling hard. He glared as Gaea referred to him as "trash". She wasn't any better, thanks for the love. Ace managed to choke out from his very uncomfortable position. "Summer is fine with what she thinks."

Gaea laughed at her words. She turned and released the earth around Ace in annoyance. The boy landed on the ground hard. Gaea turned back to Summer. "You're an utter fool. And you're not going to die with family or friends. You have none. You think they will accept you back there? I'll give you one more chance. You'll die here if you don't."

Ace landed on the ground hard. He could finally breath. He coughed and took big shuttering breaths. He looked up at Summer. Then he looked at Gaea. "Mother! Let her go. Don't kill her!"

Krissie stared at the scene. From Ace, to Gaea, to Summer, then back to Ace. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Summer was returning to that band of weaklings at camp?
They're not weak, and you know it.
Krissie nearly screamed in frustration as the voice returned to her mind. It continually pestered her, but Krissie managed to, on a level, zone it out.
