I sidestepped Jade's kick. I noticed that Krissie had finally attacked. I got behind Jade and slashed at her back.

Shade followed, jumping to her right and slashing with his long sword at her side. Hos eyes watching her movements.
Too many people. Izumi ducked Summer's blade, then turned to the side and blocked with her sword. Drastic measures. She apologized to her sword in her mind. She was going to use more than one weapon now. She rolled back, out of their way until they were all in front of her, then she released a sunburst of throwing knives at them.

If it werent for my reflexes, I would have been skewered. I dropped, flat against the ground as the knives flew past above me. When they had passed me, I immediately jumped up again. My eyes narrowed in surprise. Jade was good... I didn't hesitate a moment after I got back up. I leaped forward and sliced at Jade's face, then aimed a kick at Jade's side. If she ducked, I would probably kick her in the face. I laughed mentally.

Izumi didn't see just those two options. She ducked her slash and held out her blade to block her kick. Was she dumb enough to kick the sharp point of her blade?

I cursed when I saw her raise her blade. Instead, I put my kicking foot down and spun a 360, my knife flashing out.

Shade ran forward after Summer. He slid behind Jade and slashed at her back.
Izumi rolled to the side just in time to avoid Summer's flashing knife. She blocked Shade with her sword and spun around to kick him.

While Jade was turned around, kicking at Shade, I slashed at her back again. I resisted the urge to use powers, no matter what Krissie said.

Shade blocked her kick with his arm, grabbing her boot and pushing it to the side, then slashing at her face while Summer slashed at her back. Shade felt bad teaming up on her like this.
Izumi blocked his slash with her sword, putting a hand on the non bladed edge and pushing with all her might forward, jumping up on top, putting her weight on it. As they stumbled forwards, Shade backwards, Summer's knife missed by some, making Izumi sigh at her good luck.

I almost laughed at the sight of Jade falling onto Shade. I would have too, if Krissie weren't here. She would accuse us of playing around and things like that. I stepped forward and slashed at Jade's back again.

Shade fell backwards onto his back. He rolled away from Jade just as she rolled away to the opposite direction. Summer's knife flashed in the middle empty space, and Shade got up.
Izumi got up in a defensive position, studying the three. Her bright sword flashing.

I examined Jade through narrowed eyes, then charged at her. At the last second, I sidestepped and slashed at her side.

Izumi sidestepped just as Summer did, and he blade missed as she turned to face her. She ducked Shade's wing and returned it with her sword flashing out.

I blocked Jade's attack with my knife and twisted hard, trying the disarming technique again. I used my foot to try to sweep Jade's legs from under her.

Shade blocked her swing with his right sword. He stepped back to give Summer some room as she tried to disarm Jade.
Izumi was running out of stamina. She was eleven. She watched her sword twist out of her hands and she sighed. She jumped to the side, avoiding her leg. Izumi stopped, looking at all of them. "I yield." She said with a sheepish smile.

Izumi shrugged, not feeling fine at all. She hadn't lasted as long as she wanted to.
Shade looked at the three of them.
"My, this is troublesome, and terrifying."
He smiled and pulled his swords out in front of him.
"Let's start then."

I nodded. "Alright..." I watched him carefully. I had fought with him before.
I wasn't sure what I should do first. I slashed at his side with my right hand, then switched my knife to my left hand.

Izumi jumped to his side, flashing the blade of her sword to reflect the sunlight into his eyes. Then he slashes out at his side.
Shade blocks Summer with his left short sword. Then he turns around just in time for a flash of bright light to shine in his eyes.
"Wha-?"
He jumps backward, blinking his eyes, knowing that she would attack him if he was blinded. Her sword missed.

I smiled at Jade, as if to say, Nice move. When Shade was temporarily distracted, I slipped behind him and slashed at his back.

Izumi returned her smile and jumped forward at Shade's front, slashing at his stomach.
Shade stepped back, deflecting their blades with each sword, then using their slashing strength to cros his arms and stab at both on either side of him.
