I blocked Shade's sword that came at me. I twisted my own knife, trying to disarm him. Well, this hand, at least. Tendrils of lightning danced up my knife to Shade's sword.

Izumi swung her self in front of him, avoiding his stab. Then she slashed out at him.
Shade whistled at the lighting. It stopped at the hilt though.
"Thanks for the present."
He smiled and swung his charged sword at Izumi. The ground below Summer flashed black before a column of black flames erupted from the ground in a wall to protect him.

I leaped back just as flames appeared out of the ground. I quickly took back the lightning from his blade. It faded into the ground. I grinned. "Ha." I narrowed my eyes at his protective wall.

Jade blinked. She blocked his blade. Summer took out the electricity in it and she sighed. If Shade had hit her... Izumi ignored the wall of fire that only protected his back. She attacked him from the front.
Shade blocked her sword, kicking out at her legs. Arms of fire shot out to grab at Summer from the wall. To keep her entertained, he guessed.

What the...? Flames shaped into arms. They reached towards me. I backed away a bit. How could I stop this?

Izumi stepped back, his leg missing. She sliced at it as his kick passed by.
The flames bent, trying to get a hold on Summer. They were like hungry snakes. Shade blocked her sword with one of his, slashing at her face with his other sword.

I dodged the flames, but they kept coming. They grabbed at me again. Not knowing what else to do, I slashed at the fire.

Slashing did no good to fire. It was pretty much how it worked. Shade decided to have a bit more fun. The arms turned into shperes of fire. They shot out at her one by one.
Izumi ducked his slash. She slammed the back of her hilt into his blade in an effort to disarm him.

I growled. I dodged the spheres' one by one. I ducked, fire slamming into a tree behind me. Right after that, I rolled to my right as a ball of fire hit where I had been a second ago. What the hell was with these things?

Shade sighed. He didn't want to set the whole forest on fire. Gaea would get mad if she found out he was misusing his power. The fire hissed and smoked out. Leaving whisps of gray hanging in the air. Shade let his blade fly backward out of his hand. He stepped back and caught it, letting a column of flame erupt and make a grab for Izumi. The flames forming snakes that struck out.
Jade's eyes widened and she rolled to the side as the fire snake snapped at her.

Now with the wall gone, I sprinted forwards silently and slashed at his back. I shielded my eyes as flame erupted again. The fire shone brightly, and it hurt my eyes from this distance.

Izumi backed up, springing to the side, then flipping backwards to avoid the weaving snake of black flames.
Shade blocked Summer's knife. He pushed it downward with his left that had blocked and slashed with his right at her shoulder.

I shifted slightly, and his blade swung by with barely a centimeter to spare. I shuddered at the thought if I hadn't shifted. I pulled my knife from under Shade's left sword, then slashed at his face.

Shade smiled and tilted backwards, her knife swiping upwards into empty air and Shade slashed at her arm that was right in his face.

I quickly flicked my wrist, and aegis appeared, blocking Shade's attack. His sword made sparks as it scraped against the shield. Then the shield turned back into the charm bracelet again. I stepped forward and slashed at Shade's stomach.

Shade whistled lightly at the shield.
"It's nice."
He noted as he stepped back and her sword missed. He wanted to expend full concentration while fighting, so he made the fire snake that was keeping Izumi distracted disappear. Then he slashed back at Summer with his right.
Izumi tumbled back, she had a small burn on one arm from the stupid fire. She watched as it suddenly hissed and smoked out. She didn't need a reason to jump behind Shade and attack next.

I nodded at his words. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the fire snake thing disappear. Jade was now free to attack.
I blocked Shade's attack, then swung my knife out at him.

Shade blocked Izumi's attack, turning to the side. He ducked Summer's knife and put his right sword on top of Jade's Katana. His left sword was underneath. Her sword was trapped in the middle. He then turned it, twisting the sword to disarm her.
Izumi had to let go or she would have twisted her wrist. She aimed a kick at One of Shade's hands

While he had his hands occupied with Jade, I slashed at him back. It was followed by a kick.

Shade blocked Izumi's kick with the back of his arm. Then he pushes her back so he can step away from Summer's knife and her kick. Then he slashes out at Summer.
